Wonderful State Park. We camped here in order to ride our Harley through the area. We were not disappointed. The park was well tended, clean, and quite. We liked the river campgrounds better than Beaver Creek. The area offers much to do, Cass Railroad,Bear Town (a must see), The Green Bank observatory, Seneca Lake and many trout streams, Cranberry Glades, Droop Mountain (a civil war battlefield), a a wonderful scenic highway. If you are a biker this is a wonderful place to spend a weekend. We will go back.
This is just a pretty park. Spaces are very large. Television reception is poor. You might as well bring a DVD player. The Wi-Fi is fast. There is little road noise. It is located about 10 miles from Charleston. We would definitely stay here again.
Very clean campground. Television reception good, Wi-Fi connection slow, but it worked. They were helpful at check in by guiding you to your campsite. Road noise was minimal. This is a convenient location to all the local attractions. We would stay here again.
