Sites here were long and well maintained. Lots of rules though, none of which were enforced. For example, one small dog per site turned out to be 3 and 4 large dogs per site. Guests were required to pay $3 per person and showers were pay showers. One very dangerous aspect are the sunken fire pits which are not discernable at night. It's a broken ankle waiting to happen. It was a quiet campground as the park is not conducive to kids as there is nothing for them to do. There is plenty to do in the area including the Birch Run Outlet Mall as well as Frankenmuth. Miniature golf and a zoo are across the street.
An ideal resort. Brand new: just opened Spring 2009. This resort was well thought out. Each site has an extended concrete pad to park your tow vehicle or toad. It also includes a concrete patio with a built in firepit in the one part of the patio. The electric box, water and cable are all located at the back of the pad with the sewer hookup in the middle of the length of the pad. Clubhouse is beautiful with great pool. Laundry room has 4 washers and 4 dryers: $1.50 to wash and $1.00 to dry. And, of course, new units.
