This park has just changed its name to Hiouchi RV Resort. It is an older but very well-maintained park. Most of the sites are pull through but in a unique way. The pull through set-up allows everyone to open doors onto a green belt area. It would be great for clubs or rallys. The staff was friendly and very helpful. There is a lot to do in the area and the front desk staff gave us the "locals" scoop on what to see. There are quite a few long term people but we found everyone to be very nice. We will certainly stay here again in the future. Great park at a very good price.
This is an older park with a GREAT staff. We stayed two days. The site was gravel and the grass was pretty much dead. Facilities looked a little rough but everytime we saw a staff member, they were great. The park is about 1/2 mile off the beach so no water views but it the wind blew most of the time and even in late July, it was quite cold.
This is a very clean and well-maintained park. It is quite new and is co-located with the fairgrounds. It is close to downtown and very quiet at night. The staff was just okay but the park made up for it. Since there is no cable TV you have to rely on "over the air" broadcasts. Only the network affiliates are available, so bring your dish.
Great Passport America park. We got a good rate and the park is passable. It is right on the highway and near a train track but the staff is friendly and the facilities are clean. Good for overnight stops as you head toward Bend or points north. We'd use the park again but not for extended stays.
What a great park. It is steps from a great little lake with nice family park. The walk around the lake is a nice two miles. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The park was not busy the night we stayed. It is the cleanest park we've ever seen. All the pads are concrete and artificial grass between. The bathrooms were great and the staff was cleaning our site before we left the park. We will be back many times in the future.
This is a mobile home park that is slowly converting to an RV Park. It is pretty rough in all areas and is way out of the way. Cell phones did not work here. I would not stay here again. The trees were nice but that's about it. It is not close to Klamath Falls at all. Much better options available in the area and for less money. They are part of Passport America but did not honor the rates in the book for the program.
This is a very nice "family" park near Redmond, Oregon. It has a very nice golf course connected with it and is nestled in a beautiful valley on the edge of some magnificent rimrock. We had a problem with low voltage at one site but the staff moved us to another site with better electrical service. I would recommend this park to anyone who wants to be close to Redmond but still "out of the way".
OUTSTANDING... This is the best park we've ever stayed at, bar none. The owner met us as we pulled in at 9:00PM and welcomed us to her park. She checked us in after we'd had a terrible day on the road (three flat tires at two different times) and was as wonderful as can be. She even invited us to pick fresh vegetables from her garden for our late dinner. We did just that and had a great evening. I will drive out of my way in the future to stay at this wonderful little park. PLEASE STAY HERE if you ever find yourself on I-84 west of Boise Idaho. You won't regret it, I promise.
This is the worst campground I've ever stayed in. The electrical system went down in the evening and no one was available to fix it. The trains run no more than ten feed from most of the campers parked in the "resort" and it is surrounded by two major highways. If the traffic doesn't make you insane, the trains will scare you to death. When the power went out, it affected the entire campground and there was no way to get power all night. The pool looked like pea soup. The bathrooms were filthy and the manager said, "we are going to clean them today". The dumpster was full and bags were piled around all sides. The manager said, "they are getting it today". I would avoid this park at all costs. Pay more and stay anywhere else in Williamsburg.
