Helpful staff and pull-throughs adequate with enough space for tow vehicle. Services good. Wi-Fi worked OK until a motor home was put at the side of us which wiped out the signal. Cable TV did not work at all. Laundry looked impressive, six washers and driers, but did not use. Would use again for a 1-2 night stay to visit Roswell. No Verizon cell phone signal.
Misleading description of the campground - Wi-Fi barely available and only after we were moved to another site. Not suitable for overnighting as tow vehicle needs to be unhooked. Very tight turns into sites and much maneuvering needed. Most sites very uneven and need some serious maintenance, we certainly had difficulty leveling. Pretty poor considering the top price for this campground and certainly not top facilities. 50 amp service situated half way along the site, which the owner didn't think to tell us, even though many people visiting also think there is only 30 amp, which is situated at the very back of the site. Supposed cable TV is essentially the same as the aerial service. Very poor, cheap, and does not even have the Weather Channel. Restrooms and showers very old and laundry looks rundown. This campground has only been slightly updated and could do with some more money spending. Plus point is that the campground is in good location for shopping and Santa Fe. We wouldn't use this park again.
Stayed here for 4 nights during the Balloon Fiesta. Excellent water pressure. Solid 30-amp supply. A/C and water heater both usable but not concurrently. Expensive and some sites were very remote from the Balloon Fiests and so the school bus shuttle vital and excellent service provided. Good location for the Fiesta, very convenient and some areas within walking distance of the Balloon Park. Very well organized and helpful volunteers with a friendly atmosphere. Pleasantly surprised overall and enjoyed our stay.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Only just big rig size as sites very close together with just enough room for slide-outs. We stayed here for 6 nights recuperating from recent surgery in Albuquerque, and the setting is very peaceful. About a 30min drive to Santa Fe. Services good and cable TV particularly good. Wi-Fi also excellent considering the rural location. No reliable Verizon signal, but that's not the fault of the campground. All the sites need grading and leveling, many motorhomes had problems leveling and we also had problems leveling. Excellent gift shop. Would use again.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Re-sited us onto a bigger space to accommodate our long rig with an easy pull-thru. We were on one of the better sites, but some were very near to the Freeway (very noisy) and some were very cramped. The Campground itself is old and could do with some updating, especially the restrooms and showers. Overall in a good location and we enjoyed our stay. We camped here for 3 nights in our 38ft 5th wheel trailer and couldn't book a further night due to the Balloon Fiesta. Would use again.
Friendly and very helpful staff, particularly during our unplanned emergency hospital visit in Ruidoso. Good sized pull-thrus, space to park tow vehicle. Escorted to site. Satisfactory Wi-Fi and limited TV service. Would use again.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble to make our stay comfortable, and attention to detail and Staff very hard working. Pull-thrus very spacious and services good, although cable TV not brilliant. Wifi good. Expensive, but for a KOA it is a good park and would use again. Would give this park a 10 but the location was a bit of away from Carlsbad Town itself and even further from the Caverns. One negative point - the driers in the Laundry were not efficient - our laundry was still wet after 45 mins. We camped here for 3 nights in our 38ft 5th wheel trailer.
Good size pull-throughs, although the first site we pulled into there was a very large ants nest and they were biting! We relocated to the next spot and the Owner quickly came around to treat the ants nest. Lots of space and a tidy well-maintained Park. Not sure about the rustic fencing for privacy, as to us it didn't feel very welcoming, but that's a personal thing. Very helpful staff and allowed Good Sam rate even though we had only just enrolled for membership. Would use this park again. Good services, TV channels only a few and not very good. Free Wifi. We camped here for 2 nights in our 38ft 5th wheel trailer.
Beautiful setting in a well managed/maintained park. No shade trees but we don't mind that. Extra wide spaces, so back-in not a problem. Good services and free cable TV. Wi-Fi free in Rec Hall. A paid Wi-Fi service also available. Verizon phone service 'roaming'. Park is in a good location as there are many attractions to see in the area. We stayed here for six nights and would definitely use again.
The campground is in a lovely, quiet setting and, in summer 2009, had been for sale for some time. We were made welcome on arrival with help to site. Our site was lightly-shaded grass and very nice but with very uneven and sloping ground. You may be lucky and get an untroubled visit – that didn’t happen for us. One night local residents and the owner let off fireworks close to the camping area. That didn’t last too long but was somewhat surprising in a commercial campground. On another occasion, during the day, children and adults raced dirt bikes and ATVs in the campground, plainly unconcerned by the sign specifying 5 mph for safety. The campground was being used as if it were private land. At the weekend, in the early evening, the owner’s visitors began arriving. First a Class C parked untidily near to us and the noisy generator was started at 9pm – even though it had an electric pedestal! My complaint brought an explanation from the owner that the driver was likely 'stoned'. She woke the camper’s owner and the generator was stopped. After more visitors’ arrival, the house became noisy with loud red-neck music being played, some of it live, and easily heard at our site fairly close by. This music went on until the early hours of the morning, occasionally becoming much louder whenever doors were opened. It was after 2 am when the campground eventually became quiet. Such rowdy behavior on regular campgrounds would have resulted in campers being required to leave, but this behavior was down to the owner's friends. To repeat, all these activities were not from campers but from the owners and friends who descended at the weekend but may be there at other times.
Very large, level site with plenty of room and pleasant views. Well maintained campground and Staff (particularly TOM) very friendly and extremely helpful. This is a benchmark for how campgrounds should be run! Would definitely recommend a stay her for a few days as there are local sites to see. Wi-Fi and Cable TV worked well.
Not a destination resort but OK for an overnight stay. Site was plenty large enough and level (site No. 12). Don't stay here if you don't like freeway noise! Had to ask the office to turn off an outside speaker which was blaring out loud music from a local radio station, which they did. Otherwise, staff very helpful. Cable TV OK and wifi OK but then 'locked out' at night.
Very pleasant campground with friendly, helpful staff. We were escorted to our site by a very pleasant member of staff. Nice views of the mountains on outer edge of campground (we stayed in No. 5). Sites a little close together. Wi-Fi was fair to good. No TV service at all. Very handy location for visiting Teton & Yellowstone NP's without paying outrageous site fees!
Average campground but very spacious pull-throughs. Limited cable TV and Wi-Fi good. Pleasant open aspect with mountain views. Close to Town Center, Fuel and 2 Supermarkets within walking distance. An ideal location for visiting Sawtooth NRA. Poor check in procedure as Management was rarely seen. No Verizon cell phone service at all. Excellent laundry with brand new equipment.
This is an old KOA Campground and could do with some tidying and upgrading. Friendly and helpful staff. We choose an open pull-through site as tree branches could be a problem for big rigs. Stayed here longer than intended due to stormy weather moving through. The layout and access within the Campground could be better with a little more thought.
This campground has a beautiful setting and is very peaceful. Friendly and very helpful Owner. Grassy, sloping sites may need considerable leveling. Limited shopping for fresh foods so come prepared. We were visiting friends in the area and enjoyed this campground very much. would definitely come here again. Laundry very good value. No TV service.
Pretty and well maintained campground in a good location. Some pull-throughs require negotiation around trees and the paved roads are narrow, so with a long rig (say over 40ft) could be a problem. Showers and restroom old and could do with upgrading. We used this Campground after visiting Glacier NP as we needed to re-stock our groceries. Ideal location for visiting Glacier NP West side. Excellent Wi-Fi at our site. Will probably use this campground again on our way back from visiting friends as we re-visit Glacier NP hopefully in fine weather this time.
Excellent location for visiting East Glacier NP. Pull-throughs were adequate. Some were very generous, but others could be tight for larger rigs. No TV service. Staff not very helpful (young people) and very, very slow at registration and also serving ice cream, etc. For a KOA this is a very good campground. Expensive, but that's probably the going rate for the area. The showers and Restrooms were well used, but clean.
A lovely rural and peaceful setting to this campground which is well maintained. Very helpful owners. Pull-through sites are grass but are not conventional (weave through the trees) which could be tight for larger rigs. The back-ins are also a bit tight. The laundry shed needs completely refurbishing - old and grubby. Restrooms old but clean. With some upgrading this campground would be beautiful. TV service no good at all. Wi-Fi very good where we were. There is a dump station in this campground but for large rigs it is almost impossible to get to.
Good place to stop overnight with level, large pull-though sites. Internet access variable and slow but worked OK. Facilities of the Hotel available for use, i.e. pool, fitness room and sauna and restaurant. Restrooms and Showers immaculate. Would have scored 10 if had a TV service.
Very helpful and friendly staff who helped us back in to our site. The sites are a bit small and close together. Be sure to ask about size if you have a big rig. Wi-Fi good. Excellent location for Roosevelt NP. No pull through sites. Campground is a little untidy and could be with some upgrading. Laundry quite expensive.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Moved us to a more open site which had more room. Good location for the Badlands Park but some of the sites are quite close together and we had a neighbor running a generator for a few hours one evening which was very noisy. Overall the site was well maintained and good with every service provided, including pancake breakfast and cooked suppers, which we didn't have. As with most KOA Campgrounds this is expensive. Wi-Fi ok but a bit slow when campground is busy. Showers and Restrooms clean but could do with updating.
Nicely laid-out campground with a pleasant feel. Good sized pull-throughs even for big rigs. Nice, friendly staff and the campground was very clean and tidy. Good facilities including a brand-new fitness room. Location is a little out of the way, otherwise would score 10.
Lovely campground in a beautiful setting and very close to Rocky Mountain National Park. Well maintained and a nice friendly feel. Sites very generous size with plenty of width, but no pull-throughs. RV's were parked alternately so you're not back to back, which was nice. Wi-Fi was very good from our site (12). Although expensive, it was well worth a visit and we would use again. Restrooms and showers were spotless.
Great campground which should set the bench mark for all campgrounds! Level, spacious sites and a lovely open feel in a gorgeous location. If you like shade trees, then this is not place for you as there are none. We don't like trees anyway! The restrooms and showers are all immaculate and brand new. The Wi-Fi was excellent. We did laundry: washers $2 and dryers $1.50, which seemed expensive. Would definitely come here again and recommend the site to anyone.
The campground is showing its age, but generally well maintained and clean. Looks like an old KOA campground. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were lucky to have a pull-through site and there was only just enough room (not many pull throughs available). No views from this campground but located near to town. We cycled the local trail which was nice. Would stay here again.
Very quiet and peaceful setting around a State Park. Huge sites with plenty of space. Brand new immaculate restrooms and showers. No TV at all, but a good place to relax. To be fair, the campground is not at the lakeside, but there is a distant view of the lake. We cycled around the State Park on paved roads and saw the impressive views of Glendo Dam, thoroughly enjoyable. Would use this campground again.
Very surprised how nice this KOA is. Pleasant and very helpful staff. Wonderful views. The campground has a 'cared for' feel which we liked and would definitely use this park again if in the area. We camped here in a 37ft fifth wheel and the pull through spaces are adequate. Nice touch of a Welcome Pack with lots of useful local information - very good. Nice nature walk from the Campground around Denny Lake with lots of wildlife, birds, herons, marmots, etc. Wi-Fi was good but switched off at night. 2 Separate blocks of showers/restrooms, 1 old and 1 new. The old ones ok-ish the new ones very clean.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Very good facilities. Used one of the two laundries whilst we were there - nice and clean and in good condition. Showers and restrooms immaculate. We visited this campground before in 2005. We would definitely use this campground again - mainly for overnight due to location.
Friendly, but often inefficient park operators. Extra cost wifi was amateurish, inefficient and unreliable - thankfully the library was 5 minutes away in Poinciana with its own free wifi and computers. Long, wide, level sites, easy pull-through, good back-ins. Good 50A service and cable TV.
We camped here in a 37 footer. Very pleasant campground in a nice location with good views. Site allocated was very uneven and narrow. Relocated to next site along which was much better. Wi-Fi variable, signal kept dropping out. Cable TV limited channels, but OK. Only 1 shower and toilet for women and 1 for men, which in probably not enough for a campground of this size. However, they were clean and tidy although we didn't use them. Excellent value on this campground with Passport America discount. Would use again.
We camped here in a 37 footer. Very helpful staff. Wi-Fi pay only and very expensive, considering the cost of the site. We were fortunate to arrive when the site was empty after a busy weekend. We were able to choose a site. Many would have been unsuitable for our trailer as most of the pull throughs were on very steep slopes, very uneven and tricky to get into. We chose a back in site which had plenty of room. Very pleasant, well kept campground in a beautiful location around Stone Mountain and Lake. Restrooms were well used, but clean even after a busy weekend. Reservations are absolutely essential at this campground, particularly at weekends and if you wish to reserve a particular site. If this campground had cable TV and free Wi-Fi it would score a 9 or 10.
Chose our own site - needed levelling but open aspect which we like. Cable TV poor with 'grainy' picture and limited channels. Water, electric, sewer all OK. Restrooms old but very clean. We stayed here 3 nights as we couldn't get into next campground any earlier. This campground is OK for overnighting. Computer available for email in Office.
Efficient check in and very helpful staff. Site a little small in width and length, making maneuvering a little tricky, though we did notice some sites were a bit bigger. Water, electric, sewer all OK. Cable TV connection a little shaky giving a very 'speckly' picture on some channels. WiFi variable - old system with many drop-outs. Campground overall tidy and clean and good location for visiting nearby attractions. There was a little noise at night from a nearby speedway track, but not too obtrusive. Restroom spotless. Would use this campground again.
Sites a little uneven and difficult to level. Moved from first site allocated due to large slope and impossible to level even with all of our lumber blocks. Gravel and ground in big ruts and ridges. Helpful staff. Electric and water very good. Cable TV connection poor and 'snowy' picture. Plenty of space and campground quite neat and tidy. Restrooms awful - old, primitive and barely clean - we didn't use them. Excellent location for visiting the Smokey Mountains Area.
Quick check-in with very efficient staff. Good size pull through, but needed a lot of leveling as it was on a slope. Cable TV connection not good - picture very 'snowy'. Moved site after first night due to loud 'buzzing' noise near our bedroom window from the light outside. Owner helpful and said to choose whichever site we wanted. Good stopover location near to freeway and easy on and off. WiFi patchy, but OK. Roaming signal; no Verizon service. Would use this campground again.
Initially booked 3 nights, but stayed an extra 3 nights it was so nice. What a lovely location with good size pull throughs. The site is situated in a very scenic area and is so quiet and peaceful. Very helpful owner - we picked which site we liked with the best views (overlooking mountains) and she provided us with hiking guides for the area. Why can't more campgrounds be like this? Even though we had some rain during our stay, still a pleasure to visit. Services all excellent with WiFi service from trailer. Cable TV at this campground would have been a bonus. Only a few channels available on antenna. Would recommend this campground to anyone visiting the area.
Electric, water and sewer services good. Sites are very close together. We did notice on arrival that our neighbor had at least 5 dogs (probably more) and 2 parrots! First night OK, but second night barking from dog next door (very near to our bedroom window) kept us awake. Complained to office - unhelpful. Upon pressing, offered us another site which was about half a mile away down the end of the campground - this was nearer to the interstate road and there was too much traffic noise. We looked around and found another pull-through site near the park entrance, which was luckily available. Moved there during the morning. Another neighbour at our new site, then brought her dog onto our site and exercised it! Lost for words! We were thinking of staying for extra nights, but changed our minds, we'll be staying long enough. The location of this campground is excellent for visiting Washington DC, but other than that wouldn't visit again.
We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel and our pull-thru site was plenty long enough although side-by-side services made us a little closer to our neighbours than we prefer. Good accessibility, open with little tree shade - perfect for us. Mostly quiet, a little road noise at times. The 'Sparrow' sites we were on were the largest and others were might be short for rigs as large as ourselves. Streets were quite narrow - tight maneuvering if park is full. 50A service held up without problems despite my initial misgivings when I saw the apparently DIY installations. Free WiFi was excellent but we were close to the site office. Good cable TV service. Acceptable water pressure. Many scruffy seasonal units but these were well away from our site - there appeared to be a few touring sites amongst these however. Not so nice if that were your allocation. Overall we found good value for the price.
We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was good, level and easy on/off I-10. An old Park but well maintained and very friendly staff. Wi-Fi signal good from trailer. Would use again for overnight.
We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was good and level. A very friendly park and the owners have obviously put a lot of thought and work into the facilities. An old park but services, including WiFi, very good. Not a destination resort but well placed for visiting Carlsbad Caverns. Free handouts to visitors a very nice touch.
We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was generous with plenty of space. Park a bit run-down but serviceable and certainly OK for overnight. Washrooms a bit primitive, but adequate. WiFi from site brilliant and also Ethernet connection in office. Cable TV excellent. Overall excellent value for money.
We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our back-in site was quite large but narrow roads left little space to get positioned - luckily a Good Samaritan staff member, who was a trucker, backed my huge rig in. And even for him it took many forward and backward manoeuvres!!! Many other sites were small and closely situated. The park was in woods - lovely if that's what you like. Some sites were more open and pull-through. Better all round. A grubby, run-down park which needed renovation but despite that, nearly full - no competitors to worry about. One snowy, antenna TV channel. Voucher limited WiFi (4x15 minutes a day)worked well - better than nothing. The staff were friendly and helpful but one was po-faced and off-hand (owner?) Restrooms were primitive - not used, just inspected. Very expensive and not good value. Would not visit again - not recommended.
We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was adequate with a little levelling required. Good size site with plenty of room. Friendly, helpful staff. Park situated very convenient for downtown San Antonio - bus stop outside park for a 10 mins ride into town.
We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was good although some levelling required. Pristine park and well maintained. Comfortable country feel to the park and would use again, even though a bit expensive.
The often-found KOA park-in-the-middle-of-nowhere. A nightmare of gloomy trees. Dreadful, washed-out, extremely steep, extremely rough roads. Run down and old. We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was tight and awkward - very hard to level due to sloping ground. Extremely tight uphill turns when leaving. Basic antenna TV. No WiFi. Would never return - not recommended. Having said that the place looks busy so it must suit some folks!!
We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was excellent. Plenty of space, open and easy pull throughs. What a pleasure to visit such an immaculate, clean and tidy park! Friendly, helpful staff. Had the park been in a destination location, would have scored 10! We only stayed overnight but would definitely stay longer next time.
We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was adequate but needed a lot of levelling. Heavy rain just before we arrived and park was flooded in parts which didn't help levelling. Not a very tidy looking site but the staff were friendly and helpful. Traffic noise from nearby Interstate. Waco itself is a dump and not a destination resort! Wouldn't go out of our way to visit this park again.
We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our back-in site was HUGE and easy to access. Other sites are very variable. Lots of small ones in dense trees, others at bottom of a steep hill are large and open, some with sea views. Arrive early to avoid busy times. Campground a little tired and needs much renovation but no competitors so little likelihood of that! Poor antenna TV reception - no cable service. Good free WiFi at office and sometimes at site. 50A supply just adequate for two a/c units. Good water pressure. Very helpful staff.
We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was very difficult to access. This park is primarily a residential park model location. The touring area is a small section. The whole touring area is on what appears to be a steeply-sloping parking lot with varying site lengths. The slope is a big problem and there are large holes in the blacktop caused by bus jacks. Levelling - both side-to-side and front-to-back is demanding because of the slope. The largest sites were only just long enough for our trailer and were quite narrow with side by side hook-up. When another 5th wheel trailer parked alongside our slides were almost touching. Not a very pleasant location for other than a couple of nights, but located near to the Interstate (not noisy). Laundry room tiny but functional.
We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was good and easy to level. Easy on/off Interstate. Sited ourselves as office was not open until 1pm - no problem. SKP discount. WiFi didn't work from site as we were too far away from signal antenna - worked OK from outside Office area. OK for overnight stop.
We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was excellent. What a great park - the owner was lovely - enthusiastic, helpful and obviously enjoyed helping people enjoy their stay! Suggested we parked our rig the opposite way to maximise views of the Mississippi River! Beautiful views all round. Lovely walking trails around the lakes, where the grass had been cut and mowed by the owner. Free laundry. Intended to stay 1 night, but stayed 3 mights. Would definitely recommend and visit this park again.
We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was excellent and easy to level. We were on the newer part of the park and would have been cramped on the older part of the park. Services all good and park well maintained, clean and neat. Park nicely situated near to downtown St Louis and also the Gateway Arch (could see this from our Kitchen window!). Lots to do in the area. We found the Interstates in this area a bit confusing and the park (part of the Casino) a bit tricky to find.
We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was adequate and level. What a dump! Park untidy and trash everywhere. Chose this Park as it was the only one near to where our friends live, who we were visiting. Wouldn't stay any longer than needed!
We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was only just long enough and needed levelling. Old Park and 30 amp service only just adequate (looks like an old KOA Park). Owner pleasant and helpful. No cable TV and limited channels with antenna. OK for one night stopover.
We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was large and easy to access. A delightful park in a lovely, lake setting. Well kept and tidy. Friendly staff. Would love to re-visit.
We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was barely adequate. Not very long and very narrow with small, narrow streets and little maneuvering space. Site needed much levelling - had to abandon allocated space. Difficult to pull in and pull out. A good thing the park was quiet and we could use some of the site space opposite. Helpful, friendly staff. Free WiFi only at restaurant - an odd arrangement. Cable TV and good 50A service. Reasonable value for money but would not use the park again due to poor sites. Beautifully kept golf club setting and park models were really posh. An expensive place to have a vacation home but touring facilities were poor by comparison.
We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was just large enough but quite awkward to access. Some tree shade. Staff were polite but not very efficient or helpful - needed much prompting. 50A service adequate. No cable TV - French antenna service. Pay WiFi - not used. In the KOA mold - an old park, quite expensive, perhaps good value for families? Excellent location for Niagara Falls - worth the price for that.
We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was HUGE and easy to access. Light tree shade. Immaculately kept, comfortable park but very expensive. Good 50A service. Cable TV. No WiFi at site but a reasonable, free service at office. Helpful staff
We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was large enough and easy to access. New, enthusiastic, helpful owners, and a very recent addition to KOA network - one of the best KOA we have used. A shady park with a comfortable, relaxed feel. Easy on and off. Good cable TV, good 50A service, excellent free WiFi and Ethernet at office (reception at site depended on absence of parked buses!)
A pleasant, open site with good views of the sky and surrounding mountains. VERY helpful and accommodating owners. Left to choose whatever site we wanted. We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was open, large and very easy to access. Good free WiFi even at a distance from the office where the simple router was situated - a new antenna is to be fitted for better reception. Good cable TV. Poor 30A service which could ONLY JUST run a single a/c unit. Luckily it wasn't hot while we were there! Might be a problem if park is busy. Good location for White Mountain attractions.
We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was open, HUGE and easily accessed. Good 50A service. Helpful and accommodating staff. Basic antenna TV. Brand new WiFi in club room - very good free service. Frequent trash collection at site - nice. RV washing allowed. Near enough for Acadia NP.
Well kept, tidy park. We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was open, large and easily accessed. Other areas were deep in woods, shady and less accessible. Staff very helpful. Old restrooms but in spotless condition. Shuttle bus from park to Bar Harbor cheap and easy. Free WiFi at trailer despite being told it was available only near office area. Good cable TV. Trash collected at site - nice touch. Free daily newspaper - even nicer touch. Would use again.
A nice friendly site. Well looked after. We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was large and easy to use. Good free WiFi at site. 30A service a little flaky - dropped out a few times. Would use again.
A dump! Tired, old and run down - one of the worst we have experienced. We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was almost unfathomable as to where we should site ourselves. Very uneven due to tree roots - hard to level. Dirty surroundings. No competition and hence no reason to renovate. Parts of the park were barely believable, hidden in dark dense trees down a dark, narrow hill with low branches which would hit the roof of even a basic trailer. I had to get owners to lop overhanging branches so we could leave. Pay WiFi not tested. Good cable TV, surprisingly. Electrics should have been condemned - appear to be a crude DIY job with low voltage at all times and barely able to run just a single a/c unit. We were relieved we were just overnighting!!! Definitely not recommended.
A grubby, run-down park with lots of ancient seasonal trailers. Highly family/vacation oriented. Staff varied from helpful to hopeless. Good laundry. Watch out for the address - there are two locations called East Street!!! Ask for directions, follow international trailer signs. We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was plenty large enough, others nearby were less accommodating. Very high water pressure. Paid WiFi @ $2.95 per day did not work.
We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was large and partly shaded - a good thing as the 30A service was only just enough to run one a/c unit. Water heater had to be switched off at that time. Enough space to manoeuvre but some tight turns when leaving. Some areas of park are on a slope. Our trailer needed a thick levelling board. Sewer connection needed 30' of hoses, slightly uphill but it worked - just. Good cable TV. Excellent free WiFi at office, $9.95 per day at site - not used! Expensive park but Cape Cod is an expensive area. Excellent location for access to National Seashore Bike Trail - right next door.
A park with a lovely, comfortable 'feel'. Well looked after and obviously cared for. Extremely well spaced out sites. Lake with back-in sites. We have a dually/36' fifth wheel and our pull-through site was HUGE and level. Light tree shade. Excellent 50A supply, good water pressure, good cable TV. WiFi was pay @3.95 per day - not used. Good laundry. Easy on/off of I-95 and nearby places of interest for visits. Would have no hesitation in using again.
Wooded park. We have a dually/36' fifth wheel - our pull through site was large and easy to get in and out. Light tree shade, lake and pond adjacent. Excellent WiFi at office. Quiet park. Limited cable TV service. Friendly and helpful owner. Used as an overnighter prior to crossing border into Quebec but the roads from Jackman into QC were narrow, very rough and slow. Not an ideal place to cross the border.
A busy park with helpful staff. One of the better KOA parks. We have a dually/36 foot high-profile fifth wheel - the site size was OK with enough on/off space to manoeuvre. Well placed services. 50A only just OK - dropped out twice on full load with both a/c units in use. WiFi cost extra but free public Internet computer in office area. Only two English-speaking antenna TV channels. Good location to get into and around Quebec City. Very clean showers/restrooms. Plenty of pay-phones - useful with no US cell phone service in Canada!
