This is a nice park. I was there off-season and was using it as a place to sleep for a local conference. If you have a pop-up camper, they have a nice loop at the top of the hill and the sites are fairly private up there. The big rig section was more like a nice parking lot. It rained the entire time, so I cannot really comment on the recreational facilities.

We stayed here for a Jeep event at the race track right across the street. The site we had was huge! There were trees to divide the large, grassy sites. They came by to get trash and clean out the campfire rings on empty sites everyday. There were a fair number of seasonals, and a lot of golf carts. You had to be very careful not to get run over by a seasonal golf cart- apparently they think they own the place. I did not like that you had to pay 25 cents for an 8 minute shower and was not told about this ahead of time. I found a shower that was broken and used it, as we were staying there for a week. It was nice and quiet, until the last day of our stay. They opened the race car school at the track across the street, and the noise was obvious. This is a good place if your are going to the races, however, as the gate is right there!

This was our first campground camping experience, and it was great. It was a holiday weekend, and the place was packed, but did not feel crowded. We had trouble with our refrigerator, as we did not know how to work it, and the Work Camper came to our site, and showed us how to work almost everything on our new trailer. There was a nice bluegrass band at night, and ice cream socials where all proceeds went to benefit the KOA charity. The staff was very knowledgeable about the area. I would stay there again.
