This park is run by the Days Inn. We had a great pull through site. The sites were level and easy in/out. Close to the interstate but we were not terribly bothered by noise. Mostly bothered by mosquitoes! We would stay here again. The hotel offered discount on their breakfast but we did not participate.
This was our second stay at this park. The staff is very friendly and placed us in a good pull though site. With a sick pet, I was up using the laundry at 1 am so thankful that was available! We would stay here again. A little train noise but not terribly disturbing.
We called about availability and got their "after hours - (4:30)" recording stating there was lots of availabilities. Being new to this area and unfamiliar w/the park, we did not realize the closeness of things! Trying to get the big rig in with a tow was a bit tricky and we had no idea of where if any there were any 50 amp sites so we just used a 30 amp converter. The site was not level - our front tires way off ground so decided not to even put slides out or level. We would not try and get in there again with a big rig. The park would be great for smaller size campers though!
The WiFi does not work at the campsite. You have to go into the station/office to use it. We had a good pull-through site with no overhanging trees. Since the leaves were falling, this prevented the collection of those on top of our rig. AT&T phone service is very poor - Verizon not much better! Just the area, not the campground's fault! We stayed 9 nights and got one night free. We would stay here again.
We got the winter rate for our stay. There are a lot of "permanent" campers/residents in the park. One small permanent camper was being relocated to the spot right next to us that is a long pull through spot! Since there is no sewer hook-ups at the sites, the permanent residents have tanks under their campers for sewage collection. This wasn't especially appealing! Overall the campground was good, a nice restaurant within walking distance too so we didn't have to disconnect. We would stay again but request a site down from the permanent camper!
This was a great campground! The owners had put a lot of thought into the accommodations and amenities. I had emailed them about availability and received an email back stating they had reserved us a spot, gave the spot number/its length. There was a large dog walking area, not fenced off which would have been nice but marked off well. We would definitely stay here again. We were far enough from the highway not to be bothered by the noise. We had Good Sams discount.
The staff was friendly and when I asked for a spot with few trees, she placed us in a "satellite" spot. The spot was long, easy in/out and no overhanging trees. We are KOA members so got that discount plus had seen on their website about a $5 discount for on-line reservations/call in reservations. We were very pleased with this park and would stay here again.
This campground was wonderful. Each site was cleaned and manicured (gravel area raked) after each guest left. The concrete pads, picnic table and fire pit were great as well as WiFi reception. We arrived after hours and found the phone options were disturbing to find a person to speak with for directions, and the website not allowing me to tag on an additional one night for the two nights that we already had booked (arrived a day early). Would highly recommend this campground.
This campground was by far the best we have ever stayed at. We would drive the extra miles in the day to get back here. We arrived after hours and was given a code for the security gate entrance. We would highly recommend this park.
