According to the campground's website, they can accommodate trailers and 5th wheels up to 40'. This is simply not true! The road that runs through the campground is steep, winding, and over hung by hundreds of low branches. In retrospect, we should have left as soon as we arrived. The park is old, run down, and covered in red ants and thorns. The fellow campers were noisy and inconsiderate with no supervision from staff. The pool was old and dirty. Several other fellow RV campers we spoke to agreed. The sites are incredibly narrow, close together, not level, and overhung by very low branches. Although we are very experienced in maneuvering our 36' 5th wheel, we struggled to navigate the road through the park and then to get into our narrow site. After positioning our trailer on every leveling block we own, it still was not level because the site was so far sloped. When it was finally time to check out after two nights of very little sleep due to noisy campers that partied until 3 in the morning, we were finally told that the dump station that is listed on their website was not operational. The final straw came when trying to pull out of our pull-through site. Branches and sharp corners blocked by boulders made it almost impossible to navigate our trailer out. After over an hour of trying to maneuver between boulders and branches, our trailer was completely wedged between. We had to call for help and be towed out. Any type of RV, especially one of any length, should never attempt to camp at this campground. Only people in tents, who wish to party all night instead of sleep, should reserve a site at this campground. We will never return!

We love this park (and we are very particular)! We have camped here 3 times now and are headed back again next week. The park is so well maintained and clean. The sites are even raked. The staff is GREAT and go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. They have firepits, a pool, grassed picnic area, volleyball court, tetherball, basketball, horseshoes, a small store, a fishing pond, a "petting zoo" area. Our camping "neighbors" were even given free, fresh eggs from the chicken coop that morning for their breakfast. (They just happened to be in the right place at the right time.) There is no cell service (which is a benefit for me!) but there is a phone and computer in the lounge that guests are welcome to use. Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.

We spent the weekend at this campground. It was great! The people were friendly, the park was clean, had ample grass areas, a lake for fishing, trees, fire pits, picnic tables, and more. The park is located in the center of a very developed urban area but once inside the park, you would never know it! The park is "two-tiered", meaning an upper and lower area. The upper area is definitely preferable, the sites are not as close together. However, we stayed in the lower tier because we made our reservation at the last minute, but were still extremely happy with our stay. The only negative thing I can say, (and the reason I gave it a rating of 9 instead of 10) is that section "F" (where we stayed) is directly at the end of a small municipal airport's take-off runway. Small, private planes take off directly over this section from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm, although not constantly. The noise is loud as they are taking off but only lasts a few seconds and is definitely bearable. Don't stay in this section if you sleep late, have children who nap during the day, or don't think you can handle the occasion noise. We will definitely stay in this campground again but we will probably reserve more in advance so that we can be on the first tier, rather than the second.
