This park is looking rundown. They need to do a lot of maintenance and TLC. There are very few sites with tables. One man requested a table, and they refused to move one to his site. There were several in a pile in one corner of the park. They had swept debris into a pile in the office, and it was there 2 days running. I did not look on the 3rd day, so I don't know how long it stayed there. Showers are very tiny, and they need additional ones, as well as more laundry facilities. This is our first time with Thousand Trails and now wonder if it was worth it.
This is an OK park. Close, dusty sites. Dumpster was full for days and the smell was very bad. Stayed here to go to Zion and Bryce, but next time would stay in parks closer as it was a longer drive than realized. Nothing in the immediate area, including groceries and gas.
The sites are very small and tight getting around. Expensive but close to Zion so they jack the prices up. If your site is across from the restrooms and playground you will have people cutting through all day and evening. Having to get the tokens for showers were annoying.
The bath house floors and toilets needs to be thoroughly cleaned. The same bugs and cobwebs were on the floor for several days. The pool was never vacuumed and had piles of debris throughout. The pool needs work and resurfacing. The sites are very nice and the grounds are well kept. This could be a great campground with some work.
This park is ok for overnight. The RV sites are at the back of the park in a large open area and close together with no shade. The restrooms needed some cleaning. This was the second park in Springfield we tried.
The park needs some work. Bathrooms were okay, but needed to be swept and cleaned better. Large bugs running around in the shower. Open field camping, okay for overnight stay. This is a Passport America rate.
Needs a lot of TLC. Although they advertise 161 sites there are only 26 with electric and water and they are too close together. There were 2 portable toilets sitting in an open field where the rest of the sites were located. I assume they were there for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in August but a very disgusting sight to see in an RV park. It is definitely not a resort. The women's room looked reasonably clean but it took a couple of days to clean the men's room. I would not return here again. There are too many RV parks in the area.
This price includes Good Sam discount and we did not get a site near the river. The last review here quoted $31 for a night in July 2011. When I questioned the woman about the difference she said she had no idea where that rate had come from. Their rates were $50 a night in July. She made reference to their rooms in the motel at $70 a night. At that rate I could have stayed there for more private facilities. The campground is nice and bathrooms and showers were clean but for that price I would rather go on down the road. A lot of other RV'ers must feel the same way as only 7 RVs stopped for the night. Maybe a drop in prices would bring in more RV'ers.
Access road is 6 miles of very poor dusty gravel road. The first stop when you leave is the car wash. We had reservations for a pull through site but the site they put us in was very small with no room to park our truck. The trees made it very difficult to back into the space. I was told on the phone and in person that we were lucky to get any spot as it was a cancellation, otherwise they couldn't accommodate us. In reality there were several empty sites each night.
This is a dump. Wish I could give it 0 rating. The restroom was so rundown that the sink cabinet was falling apart and the showers were too dirty to use. I have seen outhouses in better shape. The grounds are poorly kept. This is Passport America rate.
Beautiful RV Park. The cleanest restrooms and showers we have seen on our trip. We would go out of our way to stay at this park again. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Good level, gravel sites with grassy area between each site.
This is a great park. Clean restrooms and showers. The laundry room has an iron and ironing board for your use. Level sites and lots of room at each site. Large building with kitchen for your use. This is the Passport America rate.
