Quiet and convenient to attractions/restaurants in Crawfordsville. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was old but showed evidence of recent repairs/renovation. Sites were shady but we had difficulty positioning the trailer because of small size of pull through. Internet access was not available as advertised. Grounds were receiving careful care, lots of beautiful bushes, trees and flowers.
Location was great for enjoying the Mark Twain Cave tour and Hannibal attractions. Staff was friendly. Campground itself needs work: potholes in camp roads, lots of mud and difficulty with location of sewer and electric on sites. The restrooms were the pits: showers were not clean, needed maintenance, poor lighting and some shower heads didn't have enough pressure to provide a decent shower.
Location was easy to access, close to Six Flags, but about 30 minutes from St. Louis attractions when the traffic was light. Very noisy due to freight trains passing nearby, especially at night. Showers in need of renovation.
