If you are going to Pagosa Springs, this is a great park! The owners are AWESOME who care only about your care and enjoyable experience! It is a grassy RV park, and pet friendly. Our dog enjoyed the river, as did we. They put in a new antennae for Verizon cell service while we were there, which made a difference. We came for 3-5 nights, and ended up staying for a month! The area is beautiful, with much to do as far as bike riding, hiking, etc. The other RVers are short term or there for the summer, and we made some great friends while there. The restrooms are *sparkling*, cleaned after each use. Laundry was good, recreation room was great. We would come here again and again. Wireless was good and updated with new antennae while were there too.

Rate indicates the PA rate. This is not much of an RV park, but a trailer park. There are about 3 or 4 sites he keeps available for overnight stays. I don't have a problem with this if a park is clean, but this one is not. There was garbage strewn about in our site that no one bothered to clean up. There is other trash throughout the park, such as mattresses and toilets. The laundry was just okay, not very clean at all. The owners are nice and very helpful. We would stay there again in a pinch, which was what we were in. If you are looking for a nice park in a nice area, this is not it.

Although the park is basic, the amenities were good. Clean showers, restrooms, and laundry which was fairly priced. It was evident that the owner takes great pride in keeping the area clean. Grassy RV parks in southern AZ are far and few between, and this was typical for the area. Old town Willcox is great, but sadly the oldest saloon in Arizona had just shut down and the Mercantile was next. The owner is great, and the waffles in the morning were awesome! The owner also bakes pies for sale, and she made us a shoofly pie specifically because we had never tried one before. The pies were awesome and very reasonably priced. We intended to stay one night but ended up staying a few in order to see the local area and eat pie! The Cattleman's Saloon was a short walk away, and we met some really nice Willcox natives there! We would stay there again.

This is a great park with awesome owners. They are very pet friendly, and the amenities are great. Clean showers, fairly priced laundry that worked well. The sites are level with new gravel throughout the park. We stayed in the pull through and back in area as opposed to the "tree canopy" because we felt it had a little more room. There was a large field between the office and park where we were allowed to throw a ball to our well behaved dog, and they had a small dog run as well. I can't say enough about how nice and accommodating the owners were, and the town of Chama is really lovely. We will definitely be back when we are in the area!
