Friendly helpful staff. Large sites and large shade trees. Many come here for the fishing and it looked good when we were here. At least one 30 lb king salmon landed during our stay. Restrooms are older but well kept. Same for showers. All hookups were fully functional and easily accessible. Lots of other friendly campers here. On site pizzeria, order and pay at office and the pie will be delivered to your site. Bears make occasional visits to the fish cleaning area. Can be at any time of day. Beautiful place to stay and fish or see the redwoods as we did. We would stay here again if in this area.
It's a work in progress. It's going to be the Life Bible Church. There is a hotel available as well as RV sites. As the previous reviewer said the grass is currently dead and the facility is a construction site. All sites are concrete slabs and the hookups are almost pristine. The pool was clean and ready for use. River access is available for pedestrian access. We ended up here due to waiting too long to make reservations closer to Eugene/Springfield OR. We typically spend our days out and about so it's not so bad for us. After all everything is paved and fully functional as well as clean. Quiet. Very quiet here as there is no road noise. Would we stay here again? Probably not 1st choice. But if we needed to stay in this area and couldn't get in elsewhere then yes we would stay again.
Could feel crowded if full due to the open setting. We had an enormous site, #21. All sites are grass and were in good shape. Short walk to historic town of Winthrop, WA. Area is outdoor recreational and pretty popular for winter activities and trail biking, horse riding, and back packing in warmer months. Cabins and tipis are also available. Staff is great, helpful and friendly but not intrusive. Looks like most sites have fire pit and picnic table. Lots of tents pitched tonight. Very family friendly from what I'm seeing. Gave it a 9 cause there just isn't a 10.
Friendly helpful staff. Clean restrooms and showers. Only 1 sink in men's room though. Sites are close but not crowded together. Plenty of room for awnings and slides. Nice base for seeing the north coast of Oregon. Good interior roads, laundry, gas, propane & diesel. Didn't look at pool/spa area. Rate is Good Sam.
Very friendly staff provided local attractions and restaurants. Also provided a brochure of hiking trails. Spacious sites with lots of trees/shrubbery between sites. Nearby village has gas, market and eatery. Very quiet, peaceful setting. Interior roads may be tight for big rigs. Wi Fi worked well as did A T & T cellular. Don't travel with TV so don't know about channel availability.
Clean well run park with great staff. We have stayed here 3 or 4 times now as it's a great base for exploring the Columbia Gorge. You need to like trains like we do because they run frequently and are nearby. Yes, the $1 toll bridge is narrow and has a metal grate deck.
