Very well run park. I would give it a rating of 10 except for the cost to stay here. Heated pool indoor hot tub, free internet. Less than an hour from downtown Washington DC. Very clean and safe park. We would stay here again.
Rate is based on TT membership. What a nice campground. 2 new pools, indoor hot tub, new pickleball court. The sites and grounds are really well maintained. Half the roads are dirt and fires are permitted. Best ice cream at the cg store. We will stay here again.
Rate is based on TT membership. This is a nice campground with a lot of annuals (not bad); the annuals are some of the nicest people we have met while traveling. 2 big pools and a hot tub (not open in mid April). A little money in this park for improvements would go a long way. Sites need rock and so do the roads. The annuals are doing a great job of making this place better than management. Fires are permitted. Most roads are dirt. We will stay here again.
Rate is based on TT membership. Nice campground with a beautiful lake. Stayed here the first week of April and it was kind of disappointing that the pool wasn't open. The weather was in the high 70's and their operations schedule says everything was to be up and running. You can wash your RV for a $5 fee. Campfires are permitted. Most of the roads in the cg are paved. We will stay here again.
Rate based on TT membership. Nice campground close to Cape Cod and Boston. Very wooded with good Verizon service but no chance of getting satellite service. The roads could use some help (all dirt) but doable. Nice heated pool but no hot tub. We would stay here again.
Dirty and run down. We used this place as an overnight while on the road. The office was not open (3pm) and nobody answered the phone when we arrived or returned the voice mail I left. I think they are content with the permanent residents/workers that stay there and don't have to try very hard. The place seems safe. I would stay here again if in a pinch but not If I had another choice.
Rate is based on TT membership. The park is in need of mowing and management but the location to Atlantic City is great. The lack of maintenance wouldn't keep me from staying here being it was just a place to park while we explored the area. Atlantic City is just over a half hour away. We would stay here again.
Rate is based on TT membership. One of the best Thousand Trails campgrounds we have stayed at. The only reason I wouldn't give this place a 10 is half of the park has dirt roads. The park grounds are well maintained and the location is great, 20 min to Hershey and Gettysburg is about an hour away. The staff is great and willing to help and answer questions. We will definitely camp here again.
We liked this campground. We stayed here in a RV over Christmas. My only complaint about Boyd's is the cost $100 a night, but you are in Key West. We have 2 scooters that we drove everywhere with no problems. The park is clean. I will go back again after I save up more money.
We went down the dirt road only to find a rundown park that is full of permanent residents, not saying there is anything wrong with permanent residents as long as they can carry their trash to the trash and not stack it on the side of their RV (to the roof). We kept on traveling. Don't waste your time, find somewhere else to stay.
We liked this park. The best part is the shuttle back and forth from the French Quarter ($10 round trip). They have a bar and a restaurant on site. We used our Passport America and stayed for $33 otherwise it would have been $53 a night. The downfall is the dirt roads but the grounds are nice and neat and clean. The staff is nice.
We loved this park. The woman at the front desk was very helpful. She answered all of our questions about the French Quarter and gave us some great recommendations. The French Quarter is 3 blocks from the park. I would give it a higher score if it wasn't so expensive.
