Even though highway noise can be heard in the distance, the park is very peaceful with nice trees and a variety of song birds. We stayed for three days and appreciated the landscaping, wooded areas, and abundance of shade. Nothing fancy: just a nice place to stay. There are only a small number of daily rate spaces available and the park was completely full every day.

We love this park. Great views, quiet, clean, friendly owner, and just minutes from Garner State Park and the Frio River. We stayed during the off season for $27 / night.
