This is a nice park with long and wide pull throughs, The cable and Wi-Fi worked fine. They had the area outside the office decorated for Halloween. Staff people were nice and quite friendly. The lake is just for fishing (catch and release). Not a lot of frills, but nice for staying a couple of days.
Like other reviewers remarked, the sites are short and narrow. We had a 40 foot and were just able to get our car in, but kind of sideways. The staff were friendly. It's not a resort, but a decent park. We toured the area and there is lots of history in Vicksburg. And the Casino is right across the street for those who would like to visit there. We would have no problem coming back to this park.
What a gem. This is a very nice park and has plenty of room for big rigs. We were in a 40 foot rig and had plenty of room for our toad. All concrete pads and grass. You can't beat the price either for this nice of a park. No cable TV but satellite was no problem and you would probably be able to get local TV with your antenna. We definitely would come back.
This is a no frills, small and older park which is well taken care of. You can get spots looking right at the ocean which is beautiful. The only thing I was disappointed with is that there is really no beach. You can also fish off the pier. The people in the office went out of their way to be accommodating and were so friendly. We were in a 40 footer and had no problem getting in and out. The Wi-Fi worked good and you will have no problem getting satellite reception.
This park is absolutely wonderful. Lots of room for big rigs and mostly all pull throughs with beautiful grass on each site with shrubs along side to give a bit of privacy. It definitely is a resort and well worth the price, which wasn't bad for a park like this. We definitely would come back again.
This is not a resort, but an older park. It is a quaint park with lots of trees and really no bugs to speak of so, I was pleasantly surprised. We were in a 40ft motorhome and had plenty of room. There are only a few spots that can get satellite TV, so if you need that be sure to check which spots can get it. The Wi-Fi worked well. We would come back again.
This is not a big park, but a nice place to stop for a few days. We stayed in a pull-through and had plenty of room with our 40ft. There is grass next to the RV. The staff were nice. While we were there someone had his truck broken into and items taken. This can happen anywhere as it only takes one stupid crook out of many nice people. Just a good reminder to lock everything up. We would stay again.
We stayed here for a week in March and enjoyed this park very much. The employees were all great. The pool is heated to about 88. And, there is a lot to see and do in the area. The only one negative is that train that goes by a whole lot and blows the whistle all night. We definitely would come back to this park again. The only reason for not rating it a 10 is because of the train.
This turned out to be one of the better RV Parks. The sites are long and there is a wooden fence between each site. Most sites have a little bit of grass. All the roads and sites are gravel, but that wasn't a problem. They have a wonderful, huge gift shop with just tons of great things. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. They were great. There is a indoor pool which was great. They have a workout room, game room among other things. We definitely would stay here again if we come back this way.
We were pleasantly surprised. It is a nice park. The staff seemed friendly and helpful. There was enough room for our motorhome and car in the site. This is a much bigger park than you would think. We definitely would stay here again if we come back this way. The Wi-Fi was iffy sometimes, but to be fair the park was full.
This was a very quaint park. It is right off I-70 and we stayed here for 3 nights. The manager was very helpful. We were going to be arriving late and he even called to make sure that we would be there as it was going to be full. Thank goodness he did this as I'm not sure where we would have been able to stay had he given up our spot. The park is not a fancy park, but very, well kept. It was great and we would definitely stay here again if we come this way.
We stayed here from Oct. 26 through Nov. 8. They have a shuttle that takes you to Sea World (much better than driving and paying for parking). We also took a city bus, that picked us up right outside the RV park and we got off right in front of the River Walk. The staff are so very helpful and were always very friendly. The park is very clean. The Wi-Fi worked great, except for a minor glitch once or twice. But that seems to be the case at most RV Parks. It had a very nice pool that was kept very warm for this time of the year. We definitely will come back the next time we are in San Antonio.
We certainly enjoyed our stay. The park name definitely reflects the view of Mount Rainier. It is beautiful! There is a meadow right below the RV sites to walk your dogs. They keep wide paths mowed so it is great. Great hosts whom are very helpful and friendly. Only one drawback: when heading towards the campground on Meridian you have to turn left to get to the RV Park. It is very easy to miss, as the sign is small. If you miss it, you will have to drive quite a way down the road in order to turn your RV around. Wi-Fi works good and there is no charge. We definitely will stay here again when we come back to Washington.
