Approximately 5 sites only, 4 of which were occupied with construction workers. Did not see the other sites, if there were any and we did not stay at this campground. Almost got our rig stuck in the mud! Never saw anyone for anymore information. Left and went on to LaGrange! Will not go there again!
Nice sites with great views of the area. Pull thru sites have concrete footings for campers. Dog area is a little far from the back areas but not too bad if it is cooler weather. Campground is neat clean and quiet. No road noises, no train whistles! Will come back to this campground again!!
Nice clean and quiet campground! Especially a good place to relax and rest up from travels. Within a couple of miles to a Flying J for fuel. Nice area for dogs includes a fenced dog run. Plan on stopping here again
This was a nice park about 3 years ago, but now with the subdivision building up beside it not much of a view unless you are in one of the two or three sites where you can look at the mountains in the distance. Also, during the summer months, the workers apparently don't have enough to do. It seems that every time we were outside they were driving by to see what we were doing. They have a vehicle wash fee of $5 which I paid and obtained the permit. While we were washing our 5th wheel I saw 2 different people drive past the site twice and look at the permit. Therefore, we will not return to this campground.
Great place to stop when you are tired! Views are nice, owners are very helpful. We were having mechanical problems with our truck, he recommended a repair shop and even offered to come pick us up if we couldn't get the repair done that afternoon. We would stop again if we are in the area!!
This is a nice little park to spend a day or two. The flying J mentioned in the previous review is now closed. There are severe nice sites for big rigs with slides. This is our second visit. The owners are very friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed our stay (3 days) at this park. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a river site which was very relaxing and quiet. If I am ever in the area again I would return to this park!!!
This is our second stay at this park. We stopped here in 2005 and the owners had not owned it long. They have made big improvements since then! It is still a nice, quiet, and exceptionally clean campground. We will stop again if we come through the area! We just love it!
First of all, site was very unlevel, needs gravel in the sites, and they are close together on the pull throughs! Water pressure was a problem. Called the store, they sent a young man to our site, water pressure was fine then. Next morning, no water at all. Called the store again, to find out there were several reports of low water pressure so they were working on the problem. Finally, in the late afternoon, water was on again with decent pressure. However, at 6:30 am the next morning, no water pressure! We informed the store, we were planning on leaving before 9 a.m. as they had someone coming in that day for that site. So, no morning shower! will not return to this campground!
Park advertises free cable TV-they don't mention it is available to only 5 back in river view sites. You can hook into one of them, but if you are in a pull through, you have to run your cable across the drive which means traffic entering and exiting the park will be driving over your cable. They also advertise Wi-Fi. Upon checking in at the office, I inquired if I needed to do anything special to get on the internet. The lady said no, no passwords or anything needed. She didn't tell me that I couldn't get it from our site though. We called the office about it and she stated the owner of the park would be in at 9 pm. There were dogs running loose in the campground and you couldn't walk your own pets for them. We were assigned a site we would have difficulty pulling out of in the morning. When we change our site she became hateful. I feel if I am paying for the site, I should be able to have one I like! We have vowed not to ever return to that area.
We were in site #4 (pull thru) with our fifth wheel. We have 4 slides and need 50 amp. Site was wide enough, shady, and although there is a small grade to the site, we managed to be level. Clean, quiet campground. Nice and friendly hosts.
Good for only a one or two night stop. Trains several times a night except, for the weekends, and then there are less. WiFi not all that good at present time: there are days I couldn't use it at all. The owners are trying to fix things up: pool, putt putt golf, new internet provider in the plans.
A beautiful, clean, and quiet campground! Love this park!!! Wish I could move the campground with us every time we move!!!! The Staff we helpful at check in and even pointed out special things to see in the area. Wonderful park, we can't say enough about it.
This is one of the poorest, dirtiest parks we have ever been in. The trees need trimming as the limbs rub the top of taller RV. When we made the reservation I informed them our rig was 40 ft long and the site they put us in, we had to back out of, because of the other campers vehicles.
Campsites are too small for some rigs today. We did not stay as the site they assigned us was too small for our camper and they didn't have anything else available. I had a reservation so I lost the $40 deposit. We were not happy campers!
We fell in love with this campground. The pull thru sites were large and roomy, the campgrounds were neat, litter free, and well groomed grounds. We stayed for 5 days and it was peaceful and quiet. We just wish there were more campgrounds like this one.
