Clean, well maintained park with great access to 10 miles of biking tails and access to downtown San Antonio along Riverwalk. The city bus also picks up and drops off in front of park without having to fight downtown traffic and hunt for parking. Surrounding city area is not conducive to walking around in, but is only a few miles to various historic missions. Bathrooms, showers, and laundry facilities were clean and well maintained. Large, level, grassy sites and friendly office staff. We look forward to staying here again.

Clean, well maintained RV park. All gravel park, with no green belt and is located close to major interstate, with constant traffic. If you're a very light sleeper, you might want to consider ear plugs. We only stayed overnight on our way to San Antonio, but it met our needs. We arrived after business hours, and had no problem checking in on our own and locating our designated site. Owners were very helpful over the phone and checked on us the next morning.

Lovely park setting with adjacent river, and deer in close proximity in early morning and evenings. Clean and well maintained park with fire pits located at each site. Office staff and other park personnel were very friendly and helpful. We're looking forward to staying again in this park.

Park is clean and well kept, however, sites are gravel only and have no trees/shade in any of the sites. The bathroom/shower combination are limited to two for the entire park and weren't particularly clean.

Park was clean and well kept, and the office staff were friendly. The park has only immature trees with little in the way of shade. The park is set away from the highway which cuts down on noise. However, it is located about 20 miles north of Carlsbad which makes for a long trip to the caverns which are located about 20 miles south of the city. On the plus side, they offer home cooked BBQ dinners or pizza delivered to your site nightly. The ribs were delicious!

Nice shady park sites. Office staff helpful and friendly. The park is located a couple of miles north of town, so you'll either need a a vehicle to get there or you can ride a bike to the nearest city trolley stop (which we did). The trolley will transport your bikes and take you downtown and it's free.

The park was clean, well kept, and the office staff was friendly. The bathroom & shower area limited; however, this time of year it wasn't a problem. The park is very convenient for riding and viewing the Cumbres/Toltec train.
