I was very disappointed. Our site along with many others floods after rain. We had at least 3 inches of standing water around our site. Our flip flops floated away. Management told us that they have no control over sites flooding and have no way of keeping track of which sites may flood. I believe that a campground has control over sites flooding; they need to have better drainage in place. I was annoyed that we visited the office 3 times before someone even said "sorry". A few seasonal campers stated that our section floods with every rainfall! The lake and pool were nice but not nearly large enough to handle a full campground on a holiday weekend. There were so many golf carts that there were traffic jams. I will not recommend this campground, mainly due to flooding at sites
My family loved this campground. I liked the paved roads for riding our bikes around. The sites are very large and private. The bathrooms are beautiful and clean. The lake was very enjoyable. I also loved the shade throughout the park. The park is very big and is probably 75% seasonals with all sites very well maintained. Only complaint I have is the number of cars driving around it; we were a little nervous on our bikes. There also is a shuttle bus around the campground. We will definitely return. p.s I did not like that the rate only included 2 adults and 2 children. They charge 7$ extra a day for my 3 rd child.
We enjoyed this campground. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The water park area was fun, but it could have been enjoyed more if the pool was adjacent to it. My children loved swimming in the lake. There are not many comfort stations. Three of the doors in the bathroom had no locks and in the shower there was no way to adjust the water temperature. It was scolding hot. I notified the front desk, but the temperature remained too hot for young children to shower in. The campground lost electricity for about 6 hrs on a hot saturday. They did give out free ice cream and bags of ice, which was a nice thought. But we again lost power on Monday. Both were not related to a storm.
Way overpriced. We paid $45 with AAA discount. It really could be a nice place with the river, but it had weeds everywhere and dirt roads that turned to mud. We were placed at a site with a large electrical tower and trash dump next to our picnic table. The campground should be called trailer park because it contained mostly young men who worked in the area. Positive:The lady at check in was very nice. Also we met a nice older couple who live there year round.
We stayed here on our way home. Staff were friendly. We were lucky with our site and not having anyone next to us, but those in the front of the campground were practically touching each other. I couldn't believe how tightly packed they were.
I've never seen a cleaner campground! The bathrooms were spotless and the showers were super clean. I am not a fan of concrete pads, so if you like that they have plenty. Staff was very friendly. There is a supermarket, gas station and post office in walking distance. The sites here look better than other campgrounds we passed that were jammed tight.
Easy on/off. This was one of the cleanest campgrounds I've been to. Staff friendly. My children loved running on the green field. The noise from highway could annoy some. They rate quoted is only for 2 people, so we were charged extra for 3 children. We had visitors who stayed less than an hour and had to pay $1 for each person.
