All the employees and owners were really nice and helpful. Some sites are close together and some were spacious. Overall the park is well maintained. Some expansion going on while there. The owners let everybody know about it and had to turn the water off to make new hook ups. The water was only off about 30 minutes. Propane was available at the campground also. Great place for a little R & R and fishing in the lake.

The roads in the park and ramps to sites are asphalt and free of pot holes. The site itself was concrete and level. All sites have new 30/50 amp power, water. 18 sites have sewer hook ups. Park is large and has very large trees to park under. Like all COE parks this one is super clean. Bathrooms (two) have showers and laundry room, all clean. Park is on a large Lake (Walter F. George). Sat. TV will only work on some sites due to the big shade trees. There are grills and fire rings at all sites. Best place I have been in a long time for fishing and R&R. Staff was very nice at check in. Two large dump stations on the way out. Rate was on the America The Beautiful senior pass card.

This is one of the few State Parks that have full hookup with both cable and wireless internet. Most of the lower sites are gravel sites and are lake front. They include picnic table and fire rings. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Excellent opportunity for boating, fishing and hiking. Reservations are accepted and are recommended since the park is usually full on weekends. The park has a locked security gate at night. It’s an easy 5 minute drive to Opp. We will definitely go back to this park.

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. This location in off the main highway just far enough to be very quiet. The Wi-Fi worked great. All sites have fire rings for campfires. The location is convenient to Gulf Port and New Orleans both as well as Bay St Louis. Very clean campground. I will definitely go back and camp here again.
