I stayed one night and won't go back. We were also stuck in the back forty in two different sites that I couldn't get my RV to level on. I finally went to a site that was level without there help. The staff didn't care about anything. We had prepaid for a 50 amp and cable service they gave a 30 and no cable .The water park there cost $11.00 a day and it doesn't matter if you get there at 8 in the morning or 4:30 pm. For the price I paid it should have been free. I won't go back and I won't recommend it to anyone.
This place is clean. The staff was very helpfull. They offer a tour of the Amish Country side for free. I can't say enough of just how clean this place is SPOTLESS. The pool was just re-done and is great for all ages.
This place is great. The sites are wide the trees are high the roads are rock. The owners are nice and helpful. The pool was just re-done. They even have a small game room with 3 pinball games. Very nice for the dollar. The rest rooms WERE SPOTLESS. I would camp here again
This is one of those places that is just a stop over for the night only. No frills, just a place to sleep. I would agree don't leave anything around that you would not miss. I would stay here again just for one night.
This park was a disappointment. They charge for the showers that weren't clean ,they charge for visitors, they charge for the gate pass. We had the site across from the bath house and the sewer dump. There works go around cleaning the permanent sites then bring it to the only dump station. If you are there when they do this you will lose your lunch because their hose leaks, even the workers were losing there lunch. I will never stay here again.
This park was very nice. We only stayed 1 night. The only thing that I (we) had a problem with was with the other campers. The kids were SCREAMING will into the night (well past 10:30). If you don't mind a little hike off the freeway nice and clean place.
I have to tell you all that most of the sites at this place are great. We were put on a main road and; although there were many open sites with better views, it took an act of congress to move to one of those sites. The staff seemed to be "put out" when asked a question and gave minimal responses for answers. We have a class A that we tow a mini cooper. We had prepaid for 4 nights a total of $88 for campsite and $8 registration fee. When you check in there is a $6 dollar a day per motorized vehicle on top of the campsite rate that works out to 22.00 for the site, $8 registration fee, plus $6 for each motorized vehicle for a total of $36 a night. In any other world that would be wrong. When I pointed this out to the girl at registration she just laughed and said "Oh well thats the rules". Than we we asked to move to another site away from the busy road in the hassle they gave us was just wrong also. We ended up talking to a supervisor to make the change. The don't use logic here.
Great place for the night. The people were very nice and the store next door gives you 10% discount on groceries. It ended up only costing us 3 dollars because the Casino gave me 7.00 back because I had a CDL license and for having the Casinos card they take 10.00 off of the 20.00. So it paid for us to stay there. We felt safe . I would stay there again in my travels in our Motorhome.
Overall I found this place to be very bad. The electric gates were both broke. The place had litter throughout the sewer dump lids were very hard to get off. The power was only a 30 amp and if another camper pulled in an plugged in on the same power outlet it would blow both curcut breakers. The only redeeming value was the location to the Caverns. I WILL NVER STAY THERE AGAIN in our Motorhome.
