Stayed here for 12 nights. This is a beautiful park with very large, paved, level sites. They keep the roads well plowed when even a bit of snow falls. Your site is completely plowed before you arrive and they do some plowing at your site during your stay. There is a Good Sam discount and a discount for staying more than 7 days. The total for 12 nights was $664.68 which is just over $55 a day with tax. The pool and hot tub are excellent, though they can't seem to keep both hot tubs working on any given day. Propane is easy to get here, from a large tank in the very large parking lot. This is important in the winter. The staff is very helpful and the WiFi was fine. There is cable TV, but only about 15 or so stations, but you do get the major networks. If you are a skier and want to camp in Summit County to ski, this is the only place in the winter. I definitely recommend it, but be aware that there will be snow and ice on the roads in the park even though they do plow.
I had checked out the Website and it said the rate was $29.50 and they have a 10% Good Sam discount. When I checked in it was $33.26 Per night which included the GS discount and 12% tax. I questioned this and was told the website was wrong and they were unaware of it. This campground is fine if you are going to be inside your unit all day. Good WiFi and very good cable TV. Sites are small but adequate to pull in a 38' rig. There are really only about 6 sites for travelers as most sites are full timers. It is quiet (no barking dogs, and no kids either.) It is clean and they don't allow the full-timers to "clutter" up their site. Still it is in an area where there is graffiti on the stop signs and buildings. They keep the office door locked and you have to ring a bell, but you are behind a high security gate which requires a key or remote control to access or exit. It is a good ways from the strip. However, it is a good price for what you get, compared to the nicer, closer in parks. So you decide.
Very clean everywhere. They didn't know that there was an FMCA discount at KOAs. I did get the "senior discount." No 50 amp pull throughs long enough for a 40' unit and amp so I took a back in with 50 amp. They helped us get parked. Very few campers there and good Wi-Fi but not secured with password. Good free cable TV. Would recommend.
Check-in hours from 9-5 in winter. Good 50 amp service at our site (extra charge). Good Wi-Fi (no extra charge). Sites fit a 40 foot RV OK but not sure a much bigger one would fit. Would definitely recommend this place and it is the only one in Eagle Nest open in Winter.
