We came to Andersen's for one week because of all the terrific reviews they have received. I must disagree with the person commenting on some of the negatives. Granted the washrooms are older but sparkling clean. No the Wi-Fi is not the fastest. We have yet to be in an RV park with super duper Wi-Fi. But the cable TV here is the best we have seen in an RV park. We came for the SandCastle event and will be back again for sure. Oh, and the staff was extremely hospitable as well as very knowledgeable about the area.
This is a great park for anyone that enjoys mountain activities, fishing, boating, hiking. We will spend probably a month here. The rate I put up is their daily rate I think. Someone mentioned their WiFi was not too good here, that's quite true but remember where you are in the higher elevations. Phone service isn't that great either, but both are doable. This park hasn't a lot of amenities but the staff is great and the quiet is wonderful.
This is a lovely park, with great friendly staff. General store has all your needs in case you forgot something. It's the view that will make you want to extend your stay. The lake is full of trout and the sunsets are divine, but then of course this is Montana. Snow is melting rapidly, so there is the odd area of mud which is expected. 18 miles from the Yellowstone west gate which makes for a great day trip or three. The town of West Yellowstone has lots going on with a market, lots of restaurants and all the t-shirt shops and fishing shops you will need.
The previous review was right on the $$$ This is a great place and I am sure that the RV park will have to be enlarge. There is a lot of room for them. I just think this is a fun great spot. We looked out our window to see a cowboy herding some cattle. Views are wonderful and the Casino is great. What more can you ask for for the price.
Extremely friendly staff, very knowledgeable for the areas interest to visit. Knows where all the best local restaurants are. WiFi was mostly strong. Spaces are wide and comfortable. The owners are fairly new and have great plans for the RV Park. If you are ever in the area stop by.
I have NO idea what these other people are talking about. This place is one step up from a dreary parking lot. DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$$ We paid for 50 amp and did not receive it. NO AMENITIES NONE!!! Laundry room was dirty. Don't stay here rent a room if you must but don't stay here.
We have stayed at a lot of campgrounds and have stayed away from most KOAs because they are usually not kept up well and are dingy. Not a KOA lover sorry. This RV park is nice concrete slabs for parking, clean, well maintained and excellent personnel. I would say if you are in the area stay at this RV Park. If we ever come back to this area we will definitely stay here.
I give this place a 6 on a scale of 10. I'm being generous as I think this spot is way overpriced. We were here for an extended stay and did not get a lower rate. Centrally located and a pleasant staff. But maybe we'll look for another spot next time.
What a dump. The owners really need to clean this place up. DON'T STAY here if it is more than one night. Highway noise is bad but I can handle that. The sites are gravel and not level. Can't get close to the hook ups because of that problem. Needed to do laundry but didn't want the aggravation if not clean so I didn't even go look. We won't be going back. However the area of Sioux Falls is quite nice with lots to do.
What a beautiful facility, and the folks that own this park are so very accommodating. We had a minor plumbing problem and they couldn't have been more helpful. As others stated follow the frontage road directions. And yes the views are lovely BUT of course you're in Montana and it is all beautiful. Never heard the trains. Would go back to this park anytime.
