Although the people at the front desk did not know PA policy and I had to literally present the directory book to them and show them that the offer was valid, the place in general was really nice. We only stayed one night, but I would love to go back. We met the camp hosts and they even showed us their beautiful fifth wheel. After the initial debate to obtain the rate we were supposed to get, our one night stay was very nice, I would love to go back.
We loved this place, just dropped in and were given a good rate and a beautiful site. Cable was great, wi-fi was good and people were very friendly (lots of them were return visitors). Lake was beautiful, peaceful, and they have a very nice boat docking area; trout fishing was a popular activity and people seemed to be very successful with their catch each. I look forward to going back.
The park is very well kept, the grounds are very nice. Our RV was up next to Fort Creek which was also very nice. I do have a couple of complaints. If you stay here, plan to bring bottled water. The smell of sulfur is really strong and I am not sure I would want to drink it. If you have a need for Wi-Fi, come with an open mind. Use of Wi-Fi is to say the least sporadic, weak and you need to sign on time and time again. We did not download movies, documents or music, but found the connection available to be very, very slow and frustrating.
