Bell Parc RV Park was undergoing much renovation during our stay with among other things, a pool was underway, more concrete slabs and a paved road. When all the plans are complete, this will be a wonderful park. We stayed on a back-in site with a concrete pad facing the pond, where we could watch a beautiful show of nature including a pair of bald eagles high in a tree. The bathrooms and showers were new and spotless with tile work that you would like to have at home - very well designed. The laundry areas were clean and easy to use. A large clubhouse with a good sized kitchen was also very clean and well maintained. The campers held a covered-dish during our stay that was great fun -- lots of good food and no one left hungry. Other activities are scheduled from time to time. The staff were on site and were extremely helpful; checking on us several time during the week. We will definitely return. We're anxious to see the finished product.
This was a nice park off the beaten path, but with easy access to any attractions. The sites were large and fairly level with some shade. The facilities were older, but very clean restrooms and laundry. It has a nice clubhouse with a kitchen that is available to guests and there are other activities (bingo) which are scheduled periodically. The staff was very nice and helpful, but the office is only open 6 hours per day.
Great value for the money! Very peaceful and quiet. It's 1/2 mile from the beach. The owners are on site and are very helpful and pleasant as are the other staff. There was easy access to the park and it had large, relatively level sites, with most shaded. The bathrooms were neat and clean. The laundry room had plenty of clean washers and dryers. The park was very well maintained and we enjoyed our stay. We would return when in the area.
There are two camping sections to this park; the old which has smaller sites without 50 amp service and without sewer hookup; and the new which is full service with some concrete sites and others with gravel. Most of the sites in the new area require a good bit of leveling and most are back in. There are not a lot of bigger rig sites, so call to check. The bathrooms were clean and nice. You can go in and lock the door for a shower. The showers had short shower heads - very convenient for some. The washer and dryer were outside the bathhouse; I didn't like that, but overall the facilities were adequate, clean and accessible. The park was great for either walking or bicycling for good distances. The beach is quite a long walk, but beautiful.
It is a nice, small (in process of expansion) campground overlooking picturesque estuary. We paid extra for water front, but it was worth it for us. Our rate reflected an internet special. Sites are fairly lever, not paved, but with nice grassy areas. It is well maintained. It has a small pool. The bathrooms were spotless and had plenty of privacy and space; small club room and very clean laundry room. Although WiFi is provided, it was a bit spotty. The owners were on site and extremely hospitable. The other campers were a friendly group and we enjoyed our 4 night stay. There is easy access to downtown and some attractions. We would return to Avalon Landing RV Park.
Great spot. Clean and well kept. Staff were great; very hospitable. Sites were designed so that nearly every one had a clear and beautiful view of the bay; gorgeous sunsets. Bathrooms were very clean with nice showers and very clean laundry facilities. Excellent accessibility to shopping, attractions and restaurants. Close enough to town, but not to close. Our first 2 days included some torrential rains with no flooding anywhere. 4 large, pull through, paved and level sites with most other sites back ins, not paved, but clear, large and fairly level. If staying more than a day or two, choose a back in site on the water. Should have stayed longer. Rate reflects senior discount. Would definitely return.
