Rate reflects the Good Sam discount. This campground continues not to disappoint! We managed to call after hours to get a spot at the last minute and after a returned phone call (10 minutes tops)we had reservations. Lot's of amenities for kids. Staff had exceptional attitudes. Elec worked as supposed to with very stable power. Concrete level parking pad. Lot's of space between sites. This was a great camping experience! We camp here regularly (2x this year).
Stayed 2 nights in Shady Grove campsite within the State Park towards the back of the Park property and up a hill. Polite and helpful registration staff. Narrow asphalt drive into the campground with level concrete pads at each site requiring nothing unusual for set up. Campsite only had 30 amp service, while we needed 50 amp, and was no where to be found. Utilities worked as expected. Very shady campground. A fairly long drive back to the entrance and other services. Was just an OK experience.
Camped here over the Labor Day holiday (4 days), which is our 2nd stay at Waters Edge. Great stay! Staff more than willing to help us thoroughly enjoy the holiday. Have a limited number of boat slips for your boat or jet ski. Sites with lake views - all back in to the site with utilities on both sides of the rig (bring an extension power cord). No charge for visiting guests. Wi-Fi is pay as you go (only negative we have to offer). Utilities worked great. Bath houses were spotless, with some unusual signage. Gravel/asphalt interior roads with level gravel sites. Road is a bit dusty, drive slowly, and they mean it! Picnic tables available at each site, most overlooking the lake. Highly recommend when staying at Grand Lake.
Great RV park, very near to town and located on the road to the Passion Play. Very helpful staff, although initially they lost our reservation booked in January. The staff were helpful to put us at the site we requested initially and next to our friends. Our site overlooked the valley from the rear of the trailer (back in site at our request). The owner took personal attention to our needs and when I discovered a low hanging tree branch touching our roof, he was quick to trim the tree for us. The restrooms were very clean, the pool albeit a bit cool, was open and clean, and the campgrounds were in good shape. Interior roads are gravel, as well as the sites. The park is located on top of a ridge, lots of pines and other trees around, with both back in and pull through sites. Ours was level. Decent spacing between rigs. Our 40 ft’er fit well on the space, but with nil extra room. Our truck barely fit on the site once the rig was parked. Utilities worked great. Last time we camped here the owner provided us the use of an extension cord. Our only complaint was the park was a favorite of motorcycle riders, and some of the bikes were very noisy especially later in the evening. Aside from the unpleasant motorcycle noise (due to campers, not the RV park), this was a delightful stay. We will be back, this is our favorite park in Eureka Springs area.
We stayed for five days while visiting Tx Sandfest. Park is a remarkably well landscaped owner resort with easy access to Port Aransas. A boardwalk connects the park to the gulf. We found the resort staff very willing to help, made it easy to get to our site and were willing to let us arrive after normal business hours. The heated pool and hot tube area provide a pleasant afternoon recreation and were clean and well maintained. Garbage must be carried to the entrance of the park for disposal. Neighbors were fantastic as we bumped into them on the grounds. Didn't experience any negatives. Had a small plumbing issue, and the staff immediately recommended a local RV service company which came to the resort and didn't cost us an arm or leg. We definitely will come back to this resort.
