This campground was almost to capacity while we were there. The red rock views from the campground were fabulous. The sites were mostly gravel and not much in the way of grass, which is understandable being in the desert. A picnic tables was provided at our site. The pool area was clean even though it was heavily used. The bathhouse we used had individual combined bathroom and shower but it was not very clean. This probably had something to do with the volume of use. We visited both Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park while staying at this campground.
This campground is in the small town of Torrey that has a small grocery store and a few restaurants. It is close to Capital Reef National Park. The scenery around the campground is spectacular with the red rock cliffs. The Wi-Fi worked great for us and we were able to receive the main TV channels. The sites are gravel with shade trees. We did not have trouble with clearance. The staff is very friendly and keeps the campground very clean. We did not use the pool or eat at the restaurant. We would stay here again.
Although the sites were close together, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners were really friendly. The bathrooms and showers were clean. We chose this campground because of its proximity to Bryce and Zion. We arrived at this campground after spending the day visiting Bryce. The next morning we visited Zion. After spending most of the day at a very crowded Zion, we really enjoyed the t-bone steaks that we purchased from the owners and a nice quiet evening away from the crowds. The steaks were so good we purchased more to take home. We would stay here again.
We stayed at this campground to attend Cheyenne Frontier Days. Although the campsites were narrow and close together, we enjoyed our stay. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. The staff was very friendly and provided very helpful information regarding Frontier Days upon check-in. There is a shuttle to/from Frontier Park a couple of blocks from the campsite which was really convenient and costs $1/per person each way. We would stay here again.
