This place is definitely not a "Resort". It is a gravel and dirt parking lot with a boarded up pool, with a sad looking playground filled with some kid's leftover toys. We offered to pay for one night even though we were not even going to stay there because it was so bad, but the owner went from nice to downright rude. She threatened to bill us for three days and then hung up on us. There is no shade, no grass, no pool, no character. We would never stay at this place.
We camped one night and were lucky enough to get a riverfront site. It is very pretty to view outside your rear window. The park is a little old and tired but has shade trees. The people managing the place were nice and showed us to our place. It has washers and dryers.
This is a well run, clean park with fantastic mountain views. The wi-fi worked, the showers were clean and hot, and the people check you in, give you bottles of cold water, and escort you to your site. I will definitely stay here again.
This is basically a big field you park in with dirt roads, not even gravel. Any car driving through the park, stirred up a cloud of dust that floated through your campsite. The WiFi didn't work, the bathrooms were below average, and the bathroom/showers in the back were uni-sex. It is in a great location right by the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, and it has some nice views of the nearby mountains.
