We love this park! Self check in. Full 50 amp hookups. It is basically a big level parking lot behind the Hoover Met Baseball stadium. There are nice, well groomed grass islands scattered throughout the park. We always feel safe here and the best part for me was learning to drive and pull our forty foot trailer as there are several large empty parking lots to practice in. We were here during recent tornado activity and found several nearby office buildings in which to weather the storm with your vehicle and others from the park. Wi-Fi is good, nearby groceries, and restaurants are suitable. We will return when in the area. If you like BBQ be sure to try Southern Legacy.
This park is sometimes hard to maneuver for the bigger rigs. We have stayed before and perhaps would stay again due to the fact they have pull thru sites. As long as you are up front it's not too bad. Our site had a thirty foot stretch to get to the sewer but the maintenance guy fixed us up with extra hoses. We are full timers and haven't run into this problem in five years but they did take care of us. Laundries are clean. Staff is nice. Pool is clean. Big rig car wash on property.
Staff was friendly and very helpful. Grabbed the shuttle to Texas Steak House. There are better steaks in town, but we came in late in the day and did not unhook for early departure so it was nice to have a shuttle even though the food was mediocre. The park is easy to maneuver, however, the curbing is a bit much and should be redone. Okay for an overnight. Nothing scenic here.
Not sure about the rate, however, know this is a nice simple park for n overnight and convenient to many things in town as it is center of the Main Street. Easy in and a staff member was happy to open the back gate to let us out in the morning to come up a street to a stop light so we didn't have to dodge traffic to go back to the west. Very nice staff
You won't find a cleaner more friendly park in Colorado. The owners have work very hard this past year to get it all back up to a 10 star park. The rate reflects one night of the weekly rate. We stayed three weeks while visiting relatives in the area. The folks here are like family. also. Not only are the sites comfortable but the area is quiet and convenient to so many wonderful things to see in the area. Morning coffee and evening tea has you bringing your favorite beverage and getting to know those in the park for the day. This park is great for an overnight but I believe you will wish you could stay longer.
Nice small park. Many long term or working campers. Clean setting. Good gravel and paved roads, easy to find off Exit 185. Don't let your GPS lead you to any other exit. Rate reflects overnight rate with Good Sam. Easy pull thrus, easy check in at office. All hookups worked well WiFi available if you need. Far enough from I-75 you don't hear the traffic (2.4 miles). We would stay here again when in the area.
Rate reflects overnight rate with Good Sam discount. Nice park and we would stay again; however, as mentioned before in reviews the layout is odd. The pads are white rock and the hookups all worked well. Convenient dumpster on the way out. We got our site assignment prior to arriving and got set up okay. The park manager was not on site at the time and came around to collect later. We had asked for a pull in specifically and our site was a back in. Not a big deal as there was more than ample room to get into position for the hookups. Some traffic noise but mostly quiet at night. Very convenient to historic Savannah and even a discount voucher available for the trolley tours. Some tours will pick up at the park. Loved the country setting with horses on property.
Easy to reach park from Freeway. Nice wooded setting. Entrance narrow for big rigs. Gate with code for after hours entry. Convenient for visiting Jekyll Island, historic Brunswick etc. Quiet park for the most part. We had four inches of rain and the roads had standing water in many places as we departed. Staff was friendly, easy check in. All hookups worked well. Super long level pull thrus with some foliage between sites. We would stay here again.
The rate reflects a winter monthly rate per night. The friendliest people in the world frequent this park as snowbirds. Many activities available if you wish to participate. The six rating is due to unpaved interior roads and an archaic water system which will not change anytime soon. The sulfur smell in the water is overwhelming at times. We triple filter our water when here and buy drinking water in nearby Titusville. Two laundries are available on site; however, clothes come out smelling like the water. This park is convenient to the Space Coast , air boat rides, and Orlando Wetlands park.
Staff was cordial and helpful. Laundry was recently upgraded with nice new washers and dryers. Nice terraced sites. Pool was warm with nice hot tub. That being said, the negatives are that you fight the I-35E traffic whenever you need to leave the park. There were nearly no sites that appeared level. Our site was so off kilter we were never able to level the door side. Seemed a bit pricey for the area. We won't likely be that far north in Dallas to need this park again; however, I believe we would search out other parks.
Pretty easy to get into this park. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Let us check out late so we could get a good morning tour of the Vicksburg Military National Park in before pulling out. Sites are level and gravel which lets the water run off well when it rains. Had a great thunder storm while we were here. All amenities worked well. Would likely stay here in the future when visiting this area.
Way over priced for sleeping under a bridge. Turns are tight and somewhat difficult with the longer fifth wheels. The place is clean and the lady on the front desk was delightful, even suggested a place to eat that will remain one of our favorites for some time. We found this park convenient for a trip to the air museum at NAS Pensacola and okay for proceeding on down the beach to Gulf Shores, AL. Getting on and off the main road was very difficult, this is not an easy entry park. We most likely will stay at another park when back in the area as there are some less expensive that are much easier to maneuver.
Concur with most of the previous comments. What makes this park great is the friendly guests who come for the winter. We stayed here for several months and had a terrific time, met lots of great folks, and participated in those activities we enjoy. The staff is wonderful as well. Things I would like to see changed: more days that the pool is open and kept at a warmer temp, water purified so the sulfur smell doesn't come through (especially in your laundry), and a better understanding of what standard charges are out in the RV world as most parks prorate portions of months. We loved the people and the convenience of things on the East Coast of Florida. We most likely will return. We stayed here in a fifth wheel.
