I don't know about the past, but this was a fabulous park for us on our recent visit. You will pay for amenities, but this place had it all. With young children, it's sometimes hard to keep them busy at a campground. At Jellystone Park, there are constant planned activities, as well as a nice game room, miniature golf, boat rentals, and a store that has all your needs. The bathrooms were always spotless, it appeared to me that they cleaned them at least 4 times a day. Having your trash picked up on site was also a nice perk, as well as the visits from Yogi and friends. My 3 year old son LOVES these parks (we also stayed at the one in St. Louis). The staff was pleasant and helpful. Can't say enough good things about it.

Terrible experience. The only reason this place is rated OK is that it is complete and close to Denver. Where to start? When we arrived, we were led up a steep hill and nearly couldn't make it. It was the only time in our 3,000 mile trip that we struggled towing our vehicle. When we got there, the site was about as unlevel as you can get, and it took me 30 minutes to get my camper level. The electrical hookup had a wasps nest in it, and the guy next to me was a year-rounder whose site looked like a hillbilly shanty. After they reluctantly moved me below, I had another uneven site, this one at least not on a cliff. The camp is extremely noisy, right next to a major interstate. The staff gave me the wrong bathroom code, so I couldn't use the facilities Monday morning. When they were notified, they thought it was funny. I did not. This place is overpriced, the staff is rude, and it's loud. The facilities are complete but nothing more. Avoid.
