Owners have added free WiFi; open, covered Pavilion, more showers, and laundry. Staff is very friendly, quiet hours after 11PM are enforced, and the campground is only 5 minutes from the dunes. Very family friendly.
We stayed here during the Jeep Blessing. Large lots, bring longer hookup connections. The staff was very nice and the view was great, right on the water (this would be a nice stay during the fall color tour). We would stay here again.
Access to the park is very simple if you follow their directions. No traveling through questionable areas. The park is right on the river, the views are beautiful, lots are large, bathrooms/ showers very clean, staff is friendly. We would stay here again!
Electric and water hookups are not in the normal placement on many sites; bring long hoses and cords. The showers were very nice. The park is close to M-28, but the road noise was not too bad. The park is right on Lake Superior, and offers beautiful views and is very close to Munising and the Pictured Rocks area. We stayed overnight and would stay here again for longer than one night.
This park is nothing like it was five years ago. The new owners have put a lot of work into the park; new sites, pool, bathhouse. The staff is very friendly.
A little higher priced than our other stays, but I hear KOA's are more expensive. Very nice campground; we were even able to wash our Motorhome for .30 cents per foot.
This park is a little ways outside of Thunder Bay, but it is one mile from beautiful falls that are well worth visiting. We have a 37 foot Class A and it was a little tight driving through the park, but nothing to worry about. Very well shaded lots.
