This Park is close to our home and we stayed for a weekend here with friends from our camping club. The staff was friendly and the park was well kept. Lots of activities for the kids on the weekend we were there. The pioneer village and farm animals were something you usually don't see at a State park.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff that we met were friendly. The roads were freshly graded and not dusty as it has been raining lately. The bath house in our loop was being renovated but we did not need it since we use the bath in our RV. I did look in the bath house that was open and it was very clean even though it was older. This park has the best internet WiFi that I have used in any campground, it never stopped for the 5 days we were there. The full hookups were nice and the cable had 75 channels to watch. Golf carts are allowed and there were plenty being used in the park. Fishing on the pier was fun but the bait was expensive. I can't think of a single thing that would stop me from coming to this park again in the future.
This park is showing some age but they make up for it with plenty of activities for everyone. If you want a nice quiet place to stay this ain't it. If you want to have fun or bring your ATV's or golf carts you will love it. We stayed the week of the 4th of July and they had a very good fireworks show along with redneck games and of coarse the water slide and blue pond. The prices are getting high but they offer a lot for kids. We are going back for Halloween.
Our camping club has a Rally here every spring and we always have enjoyed our stay here. Lots of trails to ride the golf cart on along the Suwanee river. The park is very well kept and the bathrooms were clean and modern. No cable or Wi-Fi but we are usually to busy for that anyway. We will be back next year.
