This RV park is basically just a place to stop on your way to somewhere else. It needs some ground maintenance. The free cable TV was marginal. There was free WI-FI. At the time of our visit they were in the process of putting in a nice size dog park. This is a real plus in my book. The office personnel was very pleasant. They had a large laundry facility and a RV and Car Wash next door. Lots of big trees for shade. I would stay here again if it was only for one night.
If you have a choice, don't stay here. Most of the campsites for RVs are not very level. The first site they put us in (after having made reservations one month prior) required us to dispose of our waste waters uphill. The campground is very dusty due to the large volume of traffic from the rafting business on site. The trash dumpsters were always overflowing with garbage strewn all around them. The toilets and bathhouses are filthy, the laundry facilities consist of 2 washers and dryers at $4/wash, $3/dry. The campground is along the Colorado River, which means it is also along the railroad tracks that run all night long. The campground store is limited with basically just T-shirts and candy. The one redeeming quality to this place is the location. It is very convenient to Hwy. 70, the lovely town of Glenwood Springs and a nice bike path runs right by it.
