Loved the horses (site was across from the barn). Camp store was nice and had plenty of camping needs and souvenirs. Some staff were young, but nice even though they messed up my reservation and left a note for me to leave. Extremely steep roads and the dump site is on an incline that doesn't allow you to completely empty your tanks. Sites are spacious. Very close to major attractions, but there is a very steep hill to climb to get to the campground (something like 6% grade).
We didn't spend much time here since we were in Pigeon Forge for the Chevy Avalanche National Get-together. Staff was extremely friendly and we were offered free pancakes at a local pancake house. Our site was on the river and we didn't have any problems leveling. Site are extremely close together. There were plenty of ducks to watch and many campers were tubing.
We stayed here in overflow parking in '07, not '08. We didn't realize it was Jeep Jamboree weekend, but we didn't mind since we were there for ATVing. Our camp was 15 feet from the trail head and I could see Arches from the window. General store was nice as was the employees. No problems running of the generator. Not sure what the actual sites were like, but they kept one pull thru site open for the overflow to use to dump and refill tanks.
