A good place to park when visiting in the eastern suburbs of St. Louis. Mostly permanent residents living in RVs on a monthly basis. Spaces are close together and just gravel in between. Nothing fancy but it is a friendly and safe park. The people are really nice and the park is well lighted and feels safe. The weekly/monthly rate is a much better deal and they give a discount to Escapees members. The bathhouse is new and very clean and nice.
Quiet, peaceful park. Very clean and the rangers are great. It's right on a river but it's kind of hard to get down to fishing level. Nice walking trails and some interesting history. Mother Neff State Park is the first Texas state park to be built. No sewer hookups but there is a dump station easily available in the park.
