Good overnight stop. As others have said, no on-site store, no trees, big dog run area, very clean, huge sites, lots of space. But no grass and did I say no trees? It's in a Kansas cornfield. But it's easy-in, easy-out. One set rate per night. All FHU, 30/50. If it had more amenities, would have rated it higher compared to other parks. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice stop, easy to get to off interstate. Very quiet location. Very long and level pull through. Good utilities. Cell and aircard worked well. We would stay here again.

Very nice accommodating staff. Lots of trees, very hilly campground with different areas for different requirements. But sites are level, water pressure is good, electricity is good. Verizon air card worked well, did not try camp Wi-Fi. AT&T cell phone did not work at site. We had a good long pull through. Very quiet location even though it is close to highway. Easy in, easy out. Clean restrooms and laundry. Nice store/office. Would stay here again.

As far as we are concerned, about the only thing this park has going for it is the close proximity to Deadwood. The trolley stops right in front of the office twice an hour. The lady that checked us in was very rude and when we asked to change sites because the one they put us in was too narrow for our 40 ft 3 slide fifth wheel, she said she couldn't change us because they had a lot of "big rigs" coming in for the weekend and she was saving the pull-throughs for those. I commented that we had a 40 ft 3 slide unit and that is considered a "big rig", she got very indignant and gave us a pull-through. For the rest of the weekend there were 8 sites vacant from us to the next closest unit. No big rigs in those. The sites are not level and there is only about 6 feet between sites, no level ground to set chairs or tables on. We had to move the table next to us to hook up our sewer. The laundry is extremely expensive. Our Verizon air card worked well, but the AT&T cell phone service was spotty. The whole park is in a gulch and is uphill from the office to the end of the park. Both sides of the park are mountains. But it is quiet. If you want to be close to town, this is about your only choice as far as we saw. We would probably not stay here again.

Very nice, clean, friendly campground. We have a 40' fifth wheel and had plenty of room on our site. We saw no garbage overflowing and never heard the staff yelling at anyone, they are all very helpful and friendly. Our Verizon air card worked well and our cell phone with AT&T worked well, too. Nice laundry, nice fishing pond (for a fee), and the Big Thompson River runs right by the park. The free shuttle stops very close by and the park is right behind the Rocky Mountain Opry which we highly recommend, some of the best entertainment we have seen, ever. We have seen a herd of elk come through the campground, but have not seen the bear they say visits some. All in all a very nice park and we would stay here again.

Nice campground, staff very friendly and helpful. Park is maintained and clean. Several seasonal campers, but everyone we met was very nice and friendly. Easy access from highway and convenient to town. No road noise. Couple items you need to be aware of. Some of the pull-through sites share the pedastal for power, one side gets 50 amp, the other site gets 30 amp. One camper pulls in one way, the other camper pulls in the other direction. That means your slides/windows could be about a foot apart like ours was. Very cozy. And they water the area between the sites on a regular basis. If they don't get .3 inches of rain, they water. You can't put mats out on the grass, so you might be stepping out of your rig into wet grass or mud. Lots of large trees and where they parked us our satellite would not work. But they do have very good cable and our Verizon air card and cell phones worked well. All in all, nice park, might stay here again, but would select a different site if possible.

Very clean campground. If you have kids or pets this is the campground for you. Lots of activities, breakfast and dinners held several times a week. Pools and playgrounds for kids. Convenient for seeing the sites. Close to Manitou Springs and shopping and restaurants. They put us in a back-in in a far corner of the park. OK site, but the large trees prevented our satellite dish from working. Cell phone iffy, no cable TV, but you can get local stations on the antenna. We probably would not stay here again, prefer a more country setting rather than right in the city.

Managers and staff are awesome here. Went out of their way to make sure all was right. The park is nice, we were in site 41 backed right up to the river. No problem with cottonwood trees or mosquitos. Power and water were good. We did not use the Wi-Fi,have Verizon aircard, cell phones worked good. We would stay here again, but would be careful on what site we chose. Some sites are very tight. Was amazed to see a large motorhome backed in to a site with two huge trees not 10 feet apart. Our site was large and level. Only issue was for other campers to get to the river, they had to go right through someone else's site. No dedicated path to river. Not so much an issue unless you have a gang of loud little munchkins heading to the river. We would stay here again.

Nice park. Site we were in was level and long. Plenty of space between rigs. Good power, water, and Wi-Fi. Owners are on site and very helpful. Laundry room was extra nice and clean. River runs right by the property. Getting over the bridge was no problem with our 40' fifth wheel and dually. No road noise to speak of, especially at night, not much traffic. We would stay again.

Very nice and friendly park. Sites were level and big rig friendly. Owners are extremely nice and helpful. Laundry was immaculate. Sites on river are for motorhomes, hookups on wrong side for trailers. But the rest of the park is wonderful. Even in the middle of the park, the sites are staggered so you are not just looking right into the neighbor's rig. Wi-Fi is good, good cell phone reception and Verizon air card worked great as did satellite, and could get several local channels on antenna. Close and convenient to town. Easy access. Entrance ramp is fine, new concrete. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice Park. Close to highway but no road noise. Interior roads are a bit tight for a 40' fifth wheel, but we got into the site OK. Sites are separated by sage which is predominate in park. Good water pressure, and electric is good. Benches and grills at each site. We had two other couples with us and had plenty of room to sit and visit. A bit pricey, but it's about all you have to choose from to be close to town and the plaza. We did not go into restrooms or laundry so can't speak to that. We would stay again.

Don't go by the website. And good luck making reservations. Called the park 7 times, left 2 messages, and sent an email: got no reply. Park is very old and very rundown. Needs a LOT of care. Benches as well as fire rings were pretty much unusable. Sites not level. Sites were so close together we could not put out our awning without hitting the trailer slide out next to us. Power was pretty weak; breaker kept tripping even though we were not close to 30 amp. Water is good, and good pressure. No cell phone, Wi-Fi was very iffy. Air card did not work either. Setting was pretty and it could be a nice park, with a LOT of work. Even though it says big rig friendly, I would not agree. We will not stay here again.

This is a new RV area in the city park right next to the volunteer fire dept. Area is no frills, no trees (yet), no restrooms, no laundry. But the sites are level, good water and pressure, and good electrical power. We've been here for a month and the rate reflects that. You have to go to city hall in this small town and pay for the sites. They do not take reservations. Once a month they have a bluegrass jam session at the VFD with burgers for sale. In Oct they have a big bluegrass festival. The area is a huge park so dog walking is no problem. Have a play ground for kids and a covered pavilion. No picnic tables or BBQ grills. We will stay again.

Great park. Huge sites, easy to back in. Wonderful ocean view. Quiet park. The clubhouse was terrific. Yachats is a small town but you must eat at the Drift Inn. Live music nightly and exceptional food. We stayed in a 40' fifth wheel and had no problem getting into the site. Wi-Fi worked great, no problems. Cell phone is iffy. We will be back if in this area.

In my opinion this park is a nice park. It has level sites, some are close together, and the hookups are all at the back requiring some rather long hoses. But all in all, a nice clean park. It does have a manned security guard and the staff we have met have all been very helpful and friendly. They will fill your propane tank up at your rig, you don't even have to be there. It's a nice service. It's close to casinos, but not too close to downtown or the strip if that is what you are interested in. It does have some permanent residents, but most parks we have seen in Arizona and Nevada all have some permanent residents. But the park is clean and we have not noticed any pet problems, odors or such. We were given a key for the laundry and were not required to give a deposit. We would stay here again.

If you want quiet and solitude, this is the place for you. Stayed there only one night with PA, only because they were full the next day. We could have moved to another site for one more day, so we decided to move to another park. They do not take reservations using PA, it's first come first serve. They have extra large sites, good hookups and a helpful staff. It's a very clean park with a nice rec hall and lots of activities planned for campers. We stayed there in a fifth wheel, but probably would not stay there again, as it's bit too remote for us. If we had ATVs it would be a great place.

One of the nicest parks we have stayed. Small park but good sites, beautiful golf course right across the street with great bar and restaurant. Pete and Tod in the club house were great. Close to Bisbee and Tombstone and Mexico. Good cable, good Wi-Fi, small rec room with planned activities. Good laundry room. Very nice people. Very clean park, lots of birds to see. Steak night last Wed. and Fish Fry each Fri. of the month. Will definitely be back again.

It is a nice park, easy in, easy out. It is close to I-10 and railroads but noise not too bad. It has all gravel and dirt roads. The staff is helpful. There is good cable and wifi. The spaces were adequate, and hookups ok. We stayed one night and would stay there again.

It is a nice park. Roads are dirt and gravel, and could be a problem if they were wet. The sites were level, hookups adequate, wifi OK. It is a convenient location, easy in and out. There is nice staff. We would stay here again.

It is a nice park, with easy access. There are several long term residents, but their sites were neat and well kept. There are large pull through and back in sites, level concrete pads, and good roads. This is the third time we've stayed here and each time we've enjoyed the stay very much. It is a clean well kept park, with a large recreation room, clean laundry facility, clean restrooms and showers. It is close to Loop 289 but the road noise not bad. It is close to the mall, movies, restaurants, etc. We stayed here for a week this time.
