The park was clean and well maintained. Check-in was efficient and a guide lead us to our site. There is considerable road noise due to the park being next to I-84. It was tolerable but annoying. They apparently try to put you in sites farther from the freeway, when they are available. Though "Pet Friendly" they exclude Pit Bull, Rottweiler, and Doberman breeds. The park is no longer a Passport America member. We stayed for only 1 night. If we had to stop in this area, we would probably stay here again, based on the looks of the RV parks in the adjacent towns.
One of the few parks in Casper that I could contact by phone and was actually open at this time of year. Pleasant owners/operators. Helpful in finding the park (it's tucked behind the Fort Caspar Museum and you have to take the museum entrance to get there. We spent a VERY quite night here. Lots of long term workers in the back-in sites around the edges, but many large pull-thrus in the center. Roads and traffic forced careful driving with a 40 foot fifth wheel. Would stay again. Trees around the edges of park.
This is the Passport America rate, including tax and 50 amp fee. Stayed one night. Friendly, helpful host. The first site we were going to be in had partially blocked access to a rig our length, by a neighboring site's car. Host immediately led us to a different site that we easily fit into. Gravel roads and pads. Grass between pads. They are expanding and building additional pads to the north of the existing sites. Some long term tenants. Good place for an overnight stay.
