We visited this park to see for ourselves what it's like for a future stay. The pool area was VERY nice. Beautiful "Resort like" setting. The location was also amazing! But that's where the pros end. The sites were awful. Too small and too close together separated by a chain link fence. Other than the pool and location, I would give this park a 1 rating. Really overpriced too. The only good sites are the ones overlooking the Marina which are about $99 per night.
We were going to stay at this park, but drove through and were so disappointed, we drove right out. It's about 90% mobile homes and permanent residents. They only have 2 rows of temporary sites right next to the stream. The sites are all very close together and run down. I don't think we will ever stay here. The pictures on the website are VERY deceiving.
We stayed here for a weekend trip to Yosemite since all of the Yosemite parks were full. The staff was very nice, friendly and accommodating. The park itself was very clean. Restrooms, sites, pool, clubhouse, etc. We felt it was a bit overpriced and all the grass was pretty much dry and dead. I'm sure it's much nicer in the springtime when it's cooler and everything's more green. They also do not have BBQ or fire pits and do not allow camp fires, so keep that in mind. If you are going to visit Yosemite, I would recommend Summerdale which is quite a big closer to the entrance of the park.
This park is far from a "Resort." Upside, it's pretty family friendly. Playground, pool/spa, basketball court, clubhouse. Downside, it's very run down. We were to get a shady grass spot, but most of the sites are on concrete with no trees, which could be VERY HOT in our Valley Summers. Also, there are no fire pits or BBQ's. Picnic tables are very scarce and "first come, first served." There is not even one table per site, which is kind of annoying. This park was definitely WAY over priced.
This park is one of the nicest I've ever stayed at. Nice, big sites, clean restrooms, walk to downtown and beach. It also has a swimming pool, arcade, mini golf course and 3 playgrounds which is great for the kids! Each site has a Fire Ring, but no BBQ. Only downside is you can't reserve a specific site, but they will do their best to accommodate you if you come with other people. They will put you together, which is nice. We will definitely stay here again.
