I found this campground to be small but very family friendly. The staff and management we very nice and helpful. If you have a long trailer, definitely check to make sure they can accommodate it. I was placed in the largest site and although it was easy to get into we could not open our awning all the way due to large trees. We really enjoyed our stay.
This park has lots to do for the kids. There is a nice lake and a couple streams to fish in. There are 2 pools. (Not heated or at least they weren't when we were here; brr!) Staff was really friendly and so were the people camping around us. Maintenance seems to doing a great job with the grounds and facilities. Cons: If you have a long trailer don't expect to use your fire ring. Opt for the deluxe pull-through, they are bigger but no shade. Also, the roads are gravel so there will be some dust. We will be back next year.
We found the campground to be a great place to come for a weekend get away. They had lots of things for kids to do and it was very well run. Although it is big rig friendly the site we had was tight to allow our slide out to be out as well as the awning but it did fit. Owners are very helpful and keep things under control to maintain a nice family atmosphere. Only bad thing was that the sites do have a lot of trees so site space can be be a bit small depending on the site. We will back to stay again.
The park was very well kept. My site was a little tight to get into (38 foot 5th wheel with crewcab long bed truck). Great place for kids, lots of activities. Pool was a little small for the amount of people, but the kids water play area was very nice. My nieces (7 and 9) were very happy all weekend. We are planning to go back next year for a longer stay.
