This is a dandy RV Park with motel in front. The workers were very friendly and helpful, site was level and on cement, place was very clean and near wonderful places to eat along with easy access to Creole Nature Trail and beaches. Too bad it was excessively hot and no tree to park under. The lake is really a fishing pond but lovely and dog walk is very nice too. We would definitely stay here again.
We stayed at this park two nights and were parked right in front of the Mississippi River which was our goal but front desk never mentioned that convicts would be sent in to mow right next to our site. We had just hooked up when here they came and since the grass was mostly dead dust billowed all around as the tractor mowers zoomed. We like the idea of city using convicts for maintenance but wish we would have been told. I called front desk and the woman said they never know when these guys will be brought in. She said we could move but it was 100 degrees so we stayed put. The next day county sprayed and it shot into the air and covered our rig. No warning about that either. This park has two sides and we should have asked for the south portion had we known about the trees over there and cemented river walk that we didn't have. It is an easy access park, level cement slabs and free cable TV. We recommend it but heads up what to ask because the front desk just runs the cash register and offers no suggestions.
The staff is very friendly so don't know why other review said differently and cost is only $27 with Good Sam discount. You get cable TV plus large, level site on cement slab and a free breakfast at Ameristar Casino. There is also a free shuttle to the casino. We used laundry facility and it was clean plus machines worked very well. Vicksburg is an interesting place and we would stay at this RV park again if ever in the area.
This is a very clean park in a beautiful setting, wide sites, lots of pines and great dog enclosure but front desk was not very friendly and we argued about my discount which I did get when they ran the card. Visited the restored Grist Mill that was not easy to find but worth the effort and enjoyed great food at El Mezcal Mexican restaurant that is listed on RV Park info. Would stay here again.
This is a great park, friendly front desk people, roomy site and great access to Graceland with $5 shuttle to Sun Records tour. Stayed two nights and didn't meet anyone who was not a happy camper. Used the mobile RV service too and that was also a good experience at reasonable rates.
This is a friendly place with wide, level spaces, grass, trees and antiques placed around the grounds along with the Big Red Barn. It was quiet, peaceful and a light rain in the morning made the stop even more pleasant. We met happy work campers and were led to our space by owners son which was a nice touch. There is a well stocked store and the property is close to the best new and used RV parts dealer in the U.S. COLAW 10389 Cimmaron Road. We still have them mailing us stuff, like hard to find bulbs.
The Middle Creek Gospel Opera plays here but unfortunately we were not there on a Sunday. There is a generous sized theater on this property where other country stars have appeared so check dates for entertainment. The sites were roomy and we liked the place just fine, but we got there late so store was closed and popcorn was machine empty!
We had a restful night in this park and lovely walk in morning to view lake that was in a forest setting. There is a well cared for small animal zoo on this property and owners offer a reasonable cost breakfast and dinner that is prepared by them. We dined on clams which was a wonderful surprise to see on the menu. We topped off the dinner with a delicious home-made peach cobbler. The spaces are wide and there's plenty of room between rigs. The showers very clean and the hot water was instant. The entire park was well manicured and the owners very friendly and helpful when our engine battery would not start they were right there to help. We recommend this park and will stay here again if in the area.
