The campground mainly consists of sandy ground which might be muddy when raining. The sites are partly shaded by the trees. Pool and playground were nice. The staff was very friendly. It is a classic KOA campground.
It is nice wooded campground and end of August it was quite full. No sewer were available and the Wi-Fi was not free (at least we couldn't get any free provider). The beach is good 20 minutes walk, but normally a fee is required entering the beach. The restrooms were not so clean, but OK. Due to the location we would probably camp here again.
The campground is surrounded by marsh. It has a lot of huge tree which provide plenty of shade. The ground is mainly sand which turns into mud when raining. The pool was closed when we wanted to use it. The sites are quite small. The restrooms really need some rework and were barely cleaned. The free WiFi only works at the office. We will not return again.
Very nice slightly shaded campground. The spots are gravel on lawn. The restrooms were sparkling clean at any time we used them. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful (also with the extra hose for the water). The WiFi worked great for us (full speed at any time). The playgrounds and the pool were very welcomed by our kids. We definitely will come back.
This is not a normal campground, but a resort. So you need to attend a tour and make presentation. While we stayed there we arrived late and could not make any tour (started too late for us). So we can not recommend this as a campground for a night. Neither Wi-Fi nor any cell phone (we have AT&T and T-Mobile) would work.
Good: Clean showers and restrooms, perfect. WiFi works. Bad: Absolutely not family friendly. We were asked that our kids not run around - for me unbelieveable. Pool is closed. Manager is effective, but not friendly. Site is directly at the highway 89A and slots are very close to each other.
