If you just need a place to stop and get off the road, this place is okay. It is not a place you will enjoy, however. It is dusty, noisy from the freeway, and over priced for what you get. No one was in the office, so self-checkin was necessary. Then it was necessary to check sites to find 50 amp service. Hook-ups are at the far back corner of the sites so, if you are in a big rig with a toad, you will need about 35' of water hose and 30' of sewer hose.
I arrived at about 1:30 PM. There was a note on the office door saying "Back in 5 minutes." About 35 minutes later, someone showed up to check me in. The park is little better than parking in a field, shows little up-keep, and mostly long-term residents in low end units. Except for hook-ups, a Wal-Mart parking lot would be superior.
The park is somewhat out-of-the-way if you are traveling on I-10, but it is roomy with paved, level sites and a view of a good sized lake. It is easy in and out of. There are several permanent residents, but units are modern and well maintained. The price shown is the Passport America rate.
