Price reflects Good Sam. They also accept PPA for 1 night. Here 6 nights & good for wineries & visiting San Francisco. Santa Rosa is a fun town with good restaurants. Bodega Bay is a short drive. The campground consists of gravel with trees here & there. The laundry is convenient.
It was a bit difficult getting our 32' RV into the site. Once there, it was comfortable because at this time of year the campground was not full. Very close to Sequoia National Park. Said we could get Wi-Fi, but have to go across the street to the bakery (which is very good). No real Verizon service. The campground worked for what we were there to do - visit Sequoia.
We were going to stay 12 nights, but the Bottle Rock concert was going on so we only stayed 6. We enjoyed the park; cement pads, picnic table, and grass. The back in sites are against the road and can be noisy. Very good, central location to the wineries and San Francisco. The city of Napa is very cute with good restaurants. We would stay here again. The price seems to be high with no cable. If you have to use their bathrooms/showers, there are only 2 each.
We stayed here for 2 nights. Good campground for a stopover. Laundry is reasonable, but the washers are not the cleanest. A complaint we have is when the office told us they would handle an item for us and then they did not. Other than that one item it is a good place to stay on the way somewhere else. We did have a chance to visit Old Mesilla which is not far away. Good food and shopping nearby.
Perfect location for Mesa Verde and many other historic sites. Exceptionally clean restrooms and laundry - they clean every day from 12 to 3. Staff very, very friendly.and helpful. The visitor center is across the street, and they are also very helpful since there is so much to see and do in the area. Nice quiet park. Would return to the area and this park.
Sites are tight, but doable. Office staff very friendly and helpful. Stayed 3 nights, but needed to stay longer to enjoy all that is available in the area. Price is AARP. Would stay at the campground again.
Close to Santa Fe on Old Route 66. Seems the campgrounds in the area are having trouble with the cable company so none available even though it stated there was cable. Local channels came in fine. Spent most of our time touring the area anyway. Nicely stocked store. Very helpful office staff. Sites are very close together.
Beautiful park. Had a full hook-up site (there are 2 available). All picnic tables on cement slab with shade cover. Can see for miles. Some sites overlooking the lake. Hiking, biking and water sports. About 1.5 hour to Carlsbad Caverns. Loved the park and would go back. Very peaceful and quiet.
Very nice park, very friendly people. Laundry room a little small, but no trouble using when I wanted to. Price is PPA and an upgrade to a bigger site which was great. 10 minutes to San Antonio and other sites. Would definitely stay at this campground again.
Beautiful park. Great for biking and all water sports. Able to have a campfire. About 45 minutes to Corpus Christi which was a drive. Price is $20 to camp, but have to pay additional $8 a day for 2 people. Usually park entrance fees are for 3 to 10 days. So even though it was full hookup, was surprised at the extra cost. Not too much in the immediate area. Would return to park if staying put.
Campground manager very friendly and accommodating. Campground is making a comeback after last hurricane in 2008. Price is PPA. Nice size sites, good location to Galveston. Not much in the area in March since not great beach weather, but very close to beach. Laundry facilities very convenient.
This is a wonderful state park. Nice big sites; some with decks. Easy to get to New Orleans. Very quiet. Laundry facilities available. Only reason did not give a 10 because of no sewer hook up; but there is a dump station available. Second time we have stayed here and will be back.
