This is more a motel than RV park, but the owner maintains a small, mini, RV park. It's very sheltered from noise and pleasant. Good, unobstructed access to both DirecTV and Dish satellites and the power and water pressure are both excellent. The owner, is very pleasant to deal with and will do his best to accommodate you. While the park is more geared to long term, its worth a phone call to see if they have a spot. It's only a 2 block walk to downtown Tombstone and all the fun that goes on there daily.
We have stayed here before, but this time was not a good stay. Even though we called ahead and gave the park several hours lead time, we had to dig out our own site before we could get into it. Otherwise, it's a quiet park, easy to find and the owner/managers are very pleasant to interact with. I'd stay here again in nice weather, but certain would give it a pass in the winter.
This was our 3rd time staying here and as before, it was a wonderful experience. The owners are fantastic and even though they had a lot of snow hit, they had 2 sites plowed out so we could take our choice of them. Water is on year around, but it's probably best if you just run off your on board tank and fill as needed to prevent freezing. Their Wi-Fi is very easy to connect to and sets up automatically for you. If you're planning a stop in Carthage or nearby, I'd highly recommend this park. They also have a great gentleman that will come to your rig if you have a break down. Just go in and ask about H&H RV repair.
The park is well located for walking to downtown Tombstone and the owners are very helpful. The only real problem we had was the water pressure, but they are working on it and should have it solved before much longer. They offer a breakfast in the morning for a minimal cost and usually have coffee around. It's not a fancy park, but certainly gets the job done for you. Plus, if you have any problems the owner goes out of his way to help you out. Definitely the place to stay if walking the area is important for you. Plus, it's quiet.
This was our second time staying here, and as in the first visit, we enjoyed everything about this park. Sites are very nice with good grass and many are shaded with trees. Laundry facility was good and the owners were very friendly and helpful. They take you to your site and will do what ever is needed to get you situated. I'd recommend this park to anyone wanting to stay in this area. The nightly rate reflects the Camp Ground USA rate.
It's a fairly clean campground and the owners are very helpful. However, the cable TV no longer works and we and others keep losing water pressure, especially in the morning. I had to finish my shower with what water we had in our tank. The owner didn't seem concerned about it. Lost water pressure at night too, for no apparent reason. Because of this we won't come back unless there is no other place available. On the plus side, it's within walking distance of the downtown area which is nice if you don't have a car. The area around the office is very cluttered with junk and an old fire engine. We were barely able to get into the spot assigned to us.
We chose this park for it's monthly rates, but after 2 months found out the managers are complete jerks. We were put in a decent spot, until the kid who rents an efficiency from the park started blaring his rap music so loud it vibrated our motor home. After complaining about this to the managers, I was told to stop complaining about it because it wasn't 10pm. I tried to explain to them how untenable it was as we couldn't even watch our TV because of it. I was told too bad and to stop pounding on their door as they would not do anything about it. Sometimes this music would go on until 1am in the morning and still nothing was done. After having both husband and wife taking attitudes with me I informed them we would be leaving and never coming back, even though we had originally reserved as spot for December. I would definitely NOT recommend this park for anyone! We will be filing a complaint against this couple with the owners in the morning. Even though we have a week left on our rent, we are moving in the morning to another park just down the road from this one. It's a horribly managed park and it's obvious the managers don't care about their long term tenants. We also observed the husband swearing at a person who was parking in a reserved parking spot, just to remove his bikes and was going to move immediately. Avoid this park at all costs.
