Friendly staff met us and check in went smoothly. Gravel roads brought us to a long, level gravel pull through. Very quiet campground, but not far from the interstate. The park is going through upgrades, as new electric boxes have been installed at each site. Also, cable tv and phone jacks are now at the sites even though no service for them is available at this time. Newly planted trees are at each site as well. It is only a short drive to Abilene from the campground. We stayed here in a fifth wheel and would return.
We were met by the friendly staff and check in was easy. Gravel roads led us to a long level gravel pull through. The site was close to the interstate so there was some noise through the night. The park appeared to be very clean. We stayed here one night in our fifth wheel. We would return here if in the area.
The staff was very friendly upon arrival and gave us an escort to our site. The roads are paved but narrow. I was able to manuever around them even with our 36' fifth wheel. Many trees in the park, but nothing overhanging the sites or roadway. The park is near the interstate but very quiet. Long, level pull through sites which have concrete pads. We did not hook up our sewer line as the connection was covered with a plastic bag. The park is close to Biloxi and Gulfport. It appeared to be a clean park in general. We stayed only one night and would return.
Many trees throughout the park, so shade is plentiful. Roads are dirt/gravel but are level. I had to negotiate around some trees when backing into my site, but not real difficult. Some sites are close to the main road, but after dark it does get quiet. The sites are fairly level. Short drive to Valdosta or Tallahassee. Approximately 8 miles to shopping and restaurants in Thomasville. We stayed 3 nights here visiting family in Thomasville. The staff was friendly and we would come back here again. We stayed here in a fifth wheel.
