Stayed here on the stay 2 nights and 1 night is free weekend. 1st time there. The park was clean and there is a beach area for swimming. The store had the basics and fudge! We had a back in site on grass. The park is on the edge of town. Probably a great location for travelers on the turnpike and to enjoy Cleveland events but not enough for us to drive 2 hours for a weekend.
We love this State Park. It has a wonderful bike or walking path that goes along Lake Erie to the Lodge. There is a beach near the Lodge and a wooden walk path through the wetlands. The campground is very clean and nice. We have stayed here twice and each time was great. Great for big rigs.
We just stayed 3 nights at this campground over the Memorial Day weekend with 2 other motorhomes. It was our first time there and we were not disappointed. The park was very clean with flowers everywhere. The camp store had just about everything you could need. We stayed on a patio site on a holiday which is why the price was high. They brought us a paper every morning (included with a patio site). The staff and owners were very friendly and always on site if you needed anything. The 6 of us (all adults)played the miniature golf two different times. There were many children activities scheduled throughout the days. We had a pull through spot out in the newer section, cable, water and electric. Very clean park and ample room for big rigs. We will go back again this year.
