OK park. Close to busy road. Concrete pad and table, gravel roads. Our biggest problem was the operator. Sign outside camp said "high speed Internet". The Internet didn't even reach our trailer. When we went and asked him about it, he pretended not to know much about the Internet. There was only 1 modem and it was in the office window. We tried to explain that this was insufficient to reach across the park and he became quite agitated and claimed he didn't want to know about the Internet because it was " the devils toy ". When we returned from our shopping trip in town, the sign had been removed. The office had a no smoking sign on the door, but we had to fight our way through clouds of cigarette smoke to get to his desk. The adjacent laundry also smelt of cigarette smoke. Not a great stay.
Super clean and tidy park. Great sites, concrete, level, lots of shade. Lots of green grass and flowers. We were right next to the pond, the frogs serenaded us at night. Friendly hosts and neighbors. This is the first 55+ park we have stayed at. We will do so again. Came for 1 night, stayed 3.
Very tidy, well laid out park. The people here really take care of this park. Not a leaf out of place. Level concrete pad, nice shade tree and table, artificial turf. Great facilities and pool. Very quiet. Close to man-made lake, shopping. We stayed for a few days and had some tyre work done just up the road at Les Schwab, got haircuts within walking distance, and shopping at the mall near by. We don't often rate a park with a 10, but Sparks Marina RV Park definitely deserves it.
Big open park, not much shade. Lawns and gravel not well maintained. Lots of work campers, so pickups leaving early mornings. Easy access for big rigs, about 5 miles out of town and away from the freeway. Railway line is close enough to be be heard but not annoying.
Good park, 2nd time we have stayed. Would have given this park a 10, but the gravel on our site was not compacted and we created a deep rut as we backed in, Had to shift the RV, making it very tight to open the slides. Access was also very tight for a 36' RV. Last year we had a concrete site near the entrance to the park. This was a better option for us. Overall, a great park, and worth the money.
This RV park is getting tired, we tried to get into our pull though site with our 36' fiver, but the camp guy had to come and cut branches off the trees. Also had to reverse out as there simply wasn't enough room with all the stored RVs in the way. Some older RVs with blue tarps, etc. We have used this park before, but not again unless we need to.
Have stayed here before. Camp has a 'tired' feel about it. Trees need trimming, as birds crapped on our rig a lot. A busy family camp, and probably the best in Lethbridge area. Themed with vintage farm machinery, if that's your scene.
Probably the best park we have stayed at in our extensive travels. Just out of town, quiet, immaculately groomed park with very helpful owners. Also has great storage if required. We keep coming back to Winchester RV park!
