What a beautiful location! This campground is nestled in the pine trees within the green mountains. It was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The sites were really nice, shady and wooded. The were quite level and easy to back into if you didn't opt for a pull-through. We only had the chance to stay on night, though we plan to visit again when we have more time to explore.
We stayed here while visiting the Maine beaches. The campground itself is located within a fairly large town, but you feel like you're in your own little wilderness. It's very clean and well-maintained and the sites are quite large and shaded. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and took the time to chat with us and our kids. They had a small outdoor cafe which served pancakes in the morning, our kids really loved that feature. The biggest hit were the s'mores pancakes! This is a great campground, we plan to stay here again.
