We were greeted by managers who were extremely helpful and friendly. The park sites accommodate "big rigs". We experienced no difficulties parking our fifth wheel which has 5 slides. The view of the mountains is extraordinary and the rates for a week extremely reasonable. Definitely would stay here again.
I made a reservation weeks before my arrival and was explicit about the size of site I would require. Upon our arrival, we were assigned a site in which my husband made 5 attempts and was unable to get our rig in it due to the fact that the site could not possibly accommodate our rig. We were given our money back and found another park as a much cheaper rate as well as nicer. I picked Rio Chama because the pictures on the internet indicated a beautiful park, however, upon arrival what I saw was worse than the very worst "trailer" park one could envision. The interior roads are narrow and difficult to maneuver "big rigs".
