Nice place, somewhat close for us, great for a quick weekend. Sites are good, place is super clean, fireplaces are nice. Had a nice relaxing weekend. Owner/management was great and friendly. Will return.

We had a nice site so it made our stay. Some sites are in/on the parking lot, some do not have fire rings, some are lined up on the dirt. Ours was wooded with space and trees between sites. Free pancakes in the morning but they make money off the other items sold. Nice store and pools plus the jumpy pad. All in all a nice stay, would return if we were in the area.

Interesting, not as nice as other KOA's we have been to, dusty roads, Sat night entertainment was over at 8:30 so we missed it, pool it tiny. They warn you of killer squirrels or food thief squirrels. Most likely would not go back. Old trailers at the entrance, grass needed to be cut badly. In general the place needed a good cleaning.

Great park to visit the area and go to Hershey Park. Sites are tight and small but you are not there often. Staff is good but they need to learn where the sites are. We asked to be near tent sites as we had people tenting, and they went by the map which does not match the site locations so we ended up far away from the tenting area. There were many sites closer and other friends that booked after us got closer to the tent area. Pool was nice as was the store. Will stay again if we ever go back to the park but no other reason to go. Bus service was a huge plus as was the resort pass that got us passed the lines when going to the park.

It had been 12-14 years since we camped here and I forgot how much we liked this place, thinking of booking a week next year. This camp is close to the ferry to the Vineyard, close to shopping, close to the go carts and close to family for me. The campground is lots of fun and offers a lot in the way of pools, playground, entertainment, ice cream and snack bar. Some of these things have been greatly improved since our last visit. The sites were nice but it would be nice to see upgraded electric and cable. My friend blew his electric and had to call the office to have it reset, he was told that you could not run the water heater and AC at the same time so we heated the water with propane for the weekend. Cable was fuzzy at best but we do not camp to have good cable TV. The place was quiet and very friendly. We took a day trip to the Vineyard and went out to eat seafood one night. There is just plenty to do inside and outside of this campground.

Old Stage is a basic campground with a nice little store and a nice pool. Located on a river with 2 small ponds. Many seasonal sites with very friendly people. We will keep it on our list for possible stays in the future.

We had a great time, the lake was great, place was clean and neat. Rented kayaks one day and a pontoon boat from down the street another day. Will be back.

Even with all the good reviews, this place was better than expected. We had heard that the sites were small but ours site was great, large, plenty of room and the way they are angled, you are not looking at the trailer in front of you, you are looking down the street. We were there over April vacation and even though the place was packed, it was silent. As we sat out at our fire at 10 PM, we seemed to be the only ones still up. The boys spent hours at the bike park and fishing pond. Will definitely return.

This is a very nice campground but has very tight roads and sites. We left on Sat night because of a storm coming in and had a real hard time getting out of the site in the dark because of the trees and tightness of the site and roads. Other than that the place was great. Staff was friendly, the boys liked activities that were available for them to do. The place is real clean and it was enjoyable being there.

This was a very enjoyable campground. We had a good site, some are better than others. Seasonals mixed throughout with some golf carts that were well controlled. Fishing pond was fun and they had a DJ over the weekend. Will most likely return at some point.

We were in a group site and paid per person per night plus had canoe rentals. Great campground for a Scout group to be able to camp n canoe. Sites are nice, bathroom was great and clean. The system they have of bringing you up river and ending at the campground works great for our group. We had a lot of rain over night and the site drained nicely as if it had never rained which helps when you have 13 young men running around. Facilities and staff were wonderful, well worth the trip.

AKA Broken Branch KOA. This was a little gem, we loved it here. Our site was great and came with a wooden swing for us to use for the weekend, K9 playground, pool and store were nice. This was a pleasant getaway for Labor Day. It was quiet, we have camped at some places where Labor Day weekend is pretty wild but this was nice. Close to attractions in Lincoln and the area including Lost River, The Hobo RR etc. Have already booked for next year. One of the few KOA's that we have seen with planned activities and live entertainment. Easy to get to from the highway.

Returning after 11 years away, this is a nice park, sites looked a little rough when we first arrived but once we were set up they were just fine. Very friendly at check in. No cable but we were able to get a few digital channels on the TV to catch the news. The boys loved the skate park and BMX trail as well as motor boating on the lake, they have put this on the must return list for next year. We enjoys the area and took a trip to Boothbay Harbor, also enjoyed the mini golf course that they have. All in all a nice weekend. Did not swim in the pool or lake but both seemed nice, enjoyed the entertainment from our site.

This is a great campground with very large sites. Our site was wonderful, we could have fit a second camper on it. The pool is real nice as well, it is large and the pirate ship and slides are great fun. They had entertainment Sat night which was nice as well as an ice cream social. This was a real joy to be at but why only an 8 and not a 10? First off the total lack of cell service was a negative, granted they do not have control here but in todays world, cell service is important. The other is the rules, rules are great but they pick and choose which ones to enforce. We were written up for a dog issue (our fault) and a noise issue after 10 PM where we were quieter than the surrounding sites but we were the ones spoken to at 10:10 about noise. In the mean time, no one follows the speed limit here and they did not seem to do anything about it as the same cars kept traveling over 5 MPH including all of the gators the employees were driving. Anyway, great place to go, just watch the rules and don't step in front of the speeding cars.

We camped here with 3 other families, each of us showing up on different days. The Good: We liked our site and saw many other sites that we would like, we were in the back section of the campground, not far from the back gate and the walk to the beach. We were near a bathhouse and they were able to put all 3 families next to each other so that was good. There is a train, close by, but it did not bother us, we actually enjoyed it. We were able to walk to Old Orchard center and the Pier from where we were which was nice. For the reasons above, we would stay here again, not so sure for the reasons below. The Bad: Like their title, this place is too busy and too big for their own good. NASCAR Resorts at Wild Acres... well add into this, Virginia RV and Tenting because they have now combines this them and have a connector road as well as one check in area for both resorts. Add into this Morgan Resorts as they are a part owner or owner of NASCAR or owned by NASCAR or something. In addition, Ideal Properties is also involved and owns part of or some sites or something so no one knows who is running what. They do not come out of their offices unless it is the check on the construction projects, luckily we could not hear them from our site but some poor campers had to listen to it all day long. The Ideal people are using the office help to push for you to attend a sales meeting to buy something whether it be a time share or camp membership or something. I actually agreed to this but was then turned away when I arrived because I was camping with my son and not my wife, what a waste of time. In addition, they are so busy trying to get you to go to the meeting that they do not give you half of what you need to check in. All 3 families were treated differently at check in, only 1 had to register pets, only on had to register bikes etc., some where told what was going on, others not on and on. If they can limit the number of companies that own them and streamline check in, it might work out for them, not sure though.

As I sit here at camp enjoying myself, I just wanted to get this out. Our first travel trip in the new trailer after being seasonal for 10 years. Campground is very nice, sites easy to get into, we are in the lower section near the bathhouse, restroom and office. Very clean and friendly, will definitely keep it on our list for the future. Trash pick up at the site daily and wood delivery is a nice touch.

This was a nice park and great if you want to canoe. Sites were good size, we were in a group site. Plenty of shade, quiet when we were there but it was off season.

This was a nice, clean park with mostly all paved roads. Many seasonals which are mostly neat and clean. Lots of kids and families. Pools looked real nice but it was cool so we did not swim. This was Halloween Weekend, we went trick or treating and went through the haunted house which was enjoyable, the kids just did not like the clown at the end. They have bingo for the adults and kids as well as a nice playground and volleyball court. The restaurant was good and they were very friendly in there. We will return as this is one of the best places we have ever been to and we have been to over 40 places.

After camping here for many years, we made a quick stopover and stayed in a cabin. The stay was very enjoyable and the cabin worked out great. We enjoyed the pool and water park as well as the river. We participated in some of the activities that they offered. They offer a full day of activities everyday so there is plenty to do and children should never be bored. We also were able to rent a canoe and take a nice little trip down the river. The campground itself has about half the sites out in the open field area and the rest along the edges or up front in the woods away from the action. Our cabin was in the front area so we had to walk down to the pools, river and other activities but that worked out fine. It would have been better with a set of stairs rather than climbing the hill but all in all we had a good time.

While on vacation and in the area, we decided to stop by our favorite campground to take a look at it. We were very disappointed with what we saw. The campground was always a busy place but it was extremely over crowded when we were there on a Monday night. The site that once had tent trailers in them now had large travel trailers and motorhomes that just did not fit. There were cars parked anywhere and everywhere making it hard to drive through. The campground still had great pools and a restaurant as well as the beach shuttle but the overall appearance made us sad. We have camped here many times but it will be awhile before we camp here again.

We have camped here in the past and have had some problems. This trip was different, and we had a great time. They have made a few changes in employment and it made for a more enjoyable stay. The employees seemed to be more relaxed and had smiles on their faces. A new pool was added and the pool complex is just beautiful. The campground looked great and the seasonal sites were very neat and orderly for the most part, there were a few that could be cleaned up a bit though. We camped during Halloween weekend and enjoyed the trick or treating and the great haunted house. People here are very friendly and the kids had a great time. Besides the weekend activities and the pool complex, the campground offers a nice playground, volleyball, basketball, hayrides, arts and crafts and ceramics to name a few things. The kids enjoyed the ceramics Sunday morning before we left. Overall, we had a great time and cannot wait until we can return again.

We have stayed here in the past and just love the campground, but... This trip was a little different. I had heard of and read about campers having run ins with the owners. Well I could be wrong about what others experienced but we had a situation where a security guard, not the owner, came after some kids, one of mine included, and just started yelling at and threatening for no reason. I was fully aware of what the kids were doing and it was well within the campground rules, but he did not want to hear it when the kids and then myself tried to explain what they were doing, he just claimed he was right and that if we wanted to stay we would agree with him and play by the rules. I did some investigating after this happened to see if it was the owner or not but after talking to some other campers I found that he is just a security guard, workcamping with his wife who I guess runs the office/store. This guy thinks he is an owner and is sending customers away from this nice place. Hopefully the owners will see this and fix the problem. We will stay away for awhile and then see if changes are made.
