The best campground in Maggie Valley, right on Soco Road but with little road noise. Lots of seasonals but, in great condition. Very small pool (new) but, did not appear heated. Relatively level sites (grassy) but, very close together (awnings almost touching). No fire ring on our site. Cable TV adequate but, WiFi at office area. Good laundry area. Good walking area. Located on a creek. (Those sites are really the best if you can get one.) Would stay there again when in area. Resonably priced.
Excellent campground, huge back in sites with large stone fire places. Lots of privacy with large trees and shrubbery between sites. Indoor pool and hot tub, clean showers and bathrooms, well stocked store, game room, laundry, great walking area and for seeing the sights of the Lake region of New Hampshire. You also have access to the sister campground across the street which is on a lake. We had a special rate of, "stay 4 nights for the price of 3". Bargin for what you get. Cable TV with good reception. WiFi $ extra but excellent.
Good on-off for I-81 and for visiting the Natural Bridge. Had a coupon for $10.00 off the first night so, we stayed 2 nights due to our driving schedule. Neat and clean. Cable TV was static prone with limited channels and WiFi was sporatic. Sites are very small and very tight. Angle on most sites require leveling MH and using some type of additional step system to exit the side door.
Good for overnight stay off of I-75 but, would not utilize as a destination. Located in depressed area, abandoned buildings nearby. Located in an area of Pecan trees with lots of gnats around. Sites are relatively level and easy to access with a 30 foot RV towing a car. (Did not have to un-hook.) Cable TV reception was OK but, I was unable to access the WiFi due to a poor signal.
