Another very nice park on the beautiful stretch of the southern Oregon coast. Very close to the ocean and the park is clean as always when we stay here. Nice staff in the office up front and very helpful. They recommended Spinners restaurant which was fabulous! You can walk to just about everything from here. Wi-Fi was great too. I disagree with the previous review saying the park has gone downhill. We have stayed here several times before and found it just as pleasant. I talked with the owner or manager and apparently they don't water grass because of the sky high water rates, as we have found with many other Oregon coast parks. The restrooms are not new, but are certainly very decent. We will definitely stay here again.
Very nice and clean park with great staff. Premier has a few others too and we have stayed at 2 of them also. They are all consistently nice. We will stay here again next time we are at the State Fair.
Very nice neat and newly refurbished park. A little pricey but well worth the ocean access and great view. Yachats is a cool little ocean side town with some good eats and fun shops. One of the prettiest parts of the Oregon coast.
Our 3rd trip through Port Orford, which is always a treat, and we always enjoy this little park. Exceptionally clean facilities and very friendly host and owners as previous reviewers said. Several deer walked right by the campground which was entertaining. I must comment on a recent previous reviewer. Yes a handful of the overnight spaces are narrower like many other parks, but there was still plenty of room for our 4 slideouts and our neighbors contrary to their posting, and our site was about 60 feet long. They must have had a bad day because I don't know how they can say these people have mislead anyone. Welcome basket delivered by the owners children is still a nice touch, and the owners encourages us guests to post reviews here via a note on the thank you card in our gift basket. The host also recommended Griffs restaurant on the dock which was very good, and we usually eat breakfast at the Paradise Cafe, where the huge pancakes are the size of your whole plate! We will definitely stay here anytime in Port Orford.
It is a fun place to stay and play. We stay here often and enjoy it. They offer good service, convenient location and newer modern park. It was pretty warm when we were here but the young trees will provide good shade eventually. I don't agree with the previous post, as in my opinion the roads are plenty wide and sites are plenty long. Yes, you usually have to unhook, as my trailer is 32 feet long, but most people unhook anyways. A 45 footer is tough to maneuver in most parks! They have great wi-fi. It is well lit at night. The shuttle to the casino is always around. I would recommend this easy access park to anyone passing through or staying for longer.
This park is no longer in existence. The State of Oregon bought it and tore it completely out, making it a beach-access day-use facility only. The Motel is still there and operating, but is owned separately by a private owner and is now a separate property from what used to be the RV park.
Fantastic smaller but very cozy and inviting park. Extremely tidy and well maintained. We were very surprised to get a welcome basket and a local newspaper brought to our door, something we've never received before. There were some narrower sites as some earlier posts said, but there are several wider spacious sites too. Good Wi-Fi. No 50 amp but the owners said they will have 50 amp sites this summer. Probably the cleanest little park we have stayed in. Will definitely make a point to return here!
Very nice park with pretty much everything. As for several previous postings about the sites being unlevel, I did not see anything out of the norm and had no problem getting level. Nice friendly people and very clean facilities. Shuttle picks you up and takes you to the casino. Will stay here again.
Called ahead as was the only Good Sam park in the town that we saw listed. What a run down place! Office help was nice but the park was borderline junkyard. Many permanent old RV's with lots of junk around them. They put us in a space right next to a dog kennel with 2 large barking dogs. Wi-Fi didn't work well at all. Fortunately we only stayed here overnight and will not stay here again. Good Sam should look closer at this one and re-rate it correctly.
We arrived Saturday evening and office was closed. Entrance is not very well marked or lit up at night. Not open on Sunday at all. Only 2 late arrival sites available and we got the second one luckily. Park looked clean and tidy though. Not sure if we would stop here again next time through.
Fantastic place to stay! Management was top notch and this has to be one of the nicest larger parks in Oregon. Everything was spotless and every feature you could want is there. Great job by whoever planned and created the layout. We will always make a point to stop here.
This is a very nice, clean and well kept park. It is very conveniently located and easy to access. The staff members were very friendly and welcoming and we will definitely stay here again when heading down Interstate 5 through Redding.
Beautiful area and a fun but rustic park. Extremely dusty! A few loads of gravel on the roads would have made this a much nicer stay. Nice treed campground, but absolutely against any kind of pet. Close to lake and town. Only issue was that they put our 27' trailer in a space made for a 20' max trailer and it took a half hour to get it in there. Staff was nice and we would stay here again if they do something about the powdery fine dusty roads that coat your entire RV when people drive in and out.
